Is that after Cruz announced? Otherwise we will have to hear that it is a crappy poll. Walker so deserves to not only be number one in this poll, but get our nomination and become the President of the United States. He is the one with results which Americans are going to want this time since making the error of picking a talker last round. Americans won’t make that mistake again.
That's true, but he doesn't do well with social issues. He lacks the arguments and the conviction. And the social issues are more important than the economic ones.
I give you props for consistency, at least. Here, have a look:

I will stick with Cruz, the only R candidate the D’s are scared spitless of.
I think Walker is an overall good conservative but I do not trust him at all on the amnesty situation, especially after he met privately with some Chamber of Commerce folks a couple of weeks ago.
Cruz of looze, he is my man.
By that reasoning, the Governor will most likely also get a bump when he formally announces his run. Even senator Paul got a bump from his announcement, and he leads Clinton in Colorado by a few more points than all others. Watch Rubio announce next, and watch his poll numbers also get a boost.
Walker should formally announce 30 minutes after Hillary does and completely take the wind out of her sails.
Is that after Cruz announced?

This poll is from 4/1 - 4/2, a week old.

I think it’s a very bad idea for Cruzians and Walkerites here to get into a pissing contest at this point in time.
JMHO.

I will never vote for a pro-amnesty candidate.
As far as Im concerned, theres no explanation for backing criminals and the violation of our laws. Someone is either for our laws or not.
Election Eve conversions usually tell us a lot - both about a candidates ethics and what they really believe.
Ive left a state ruined by the illegal invasion. At great cost and loss of income. But it is worth it to be around Americans and hear English spoken. I will never vote for a pro-amnesty candidate, no matter how they spin it. When the entire country is ruined by illegals, there will be no place for us to go.
How about Republicans not making the mistake again of splitting the vote between conservatives like Cruz and Walker, and throwing the nomination to a Bush or Christie?
Hmmmm?
Naps, we've got less than two years to pull this off via the GOP. Now that Cruz has announced his candidacy for the primary, the ONLY thing that Walker would accomplish by joining the race is to weaken Cruz and strengthen moderate/leftist Republicans.
Walker is the single largest threat to Ted Cruz right now. It is what it is.
