Paultard is running in the wrong party. DOA.
“We kind of come from the same wing of the party,” Paul told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly
..............................
Ah.... no.... ya kinda don’t.
Paul’s first challenge is to articulate why conservatives values are good for the country. It’s not about beating the leading conservative, it’s about advancing conservatism and then making a case for being the best candidate among the conservatives. [I’d like to see the Cruz, Walker, Paul supporters take this advice too.]
As for Christie, Bush, Rubio, Romney, it’s their job to convince voters that what matters is establishment support, not conservatism, that as long as the candidate wears a GOP jersey, it doesn’t matter if that candidate is a big government liberal.
It’s bloomberg. The name says it all.
I prefer Cruz. But a Rand Paul that decides he will defend America (as opposed to Ron) Trumps an antigun Ben Carson or a second run by Willard any day
At the risk of painfully obvious, who is saying it should be?
Sane politics ought to be a team effort.
Pass on Paul.
Pass on linking to Bloomberg.
Jeb’s stalking horse?
I have yet to hear Cruz campaign against a Republican. So far he has campaigned against liberals, which is how all of them should campaign.
Ron pauls' offspring, like his father, would like us to believe that the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans are barrier enough to protect the USA from enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Rand has no, ZERO, chance to win the pubbie primary.
Rand has already jumped the shark, multiple times. He had a golden chance with his filibuster...but then got into felon-voting and called us racists for supporting Voter ID.
I would sit Rand (unarmed) behind a tree and tell him to holler real loud if any bad guys came around....
The first thing Paul would need to overcome is his unpredictability. He’s never the same guy from one day to the next. When I saw the Rah-Rah video of his Monday pre-announcement Announcement, with the flags and music and sudden conservative rhetoric I thought, Where did this come from? He has never to my knowledge, preached and whooped and hollered about things of value to me. So I concluded that it’s just a temporary affectation, adopted for the campaign period, which will be quickly dropped, should he get elected, and there’d be a quick return to equivocating and hair splitting and hem-hawing around like a McLame or a Romney. IMHO.
[I have yet to hear Cruz campaign against a Republican.]

I have wondered about this. Does “any material at all” include url?
I don't think this is a winning argument. I told him so. He listened. I think it is viable as policy down the line, but in the short term, voters aren't going to resonate with more savings and benefits from taxes (which they don't pay).
Paul isn’t conservative, so he cannot articulate conservatism, and in fact for years, he has been dropping his pretense at conservatism, and is openly becoming libertarian.
