Glenn Beck suspects that Mitt Romney bowing out of the 2016 presidential race might be the result of a secret deal between him and Jeb Bush, to avoid the risk of both of them attacking each other and fighting for the same supporters while someone like Ted Cruz can capitalize on a split vote like that.
Remember that secret meeting Romney and Bush had this month? Well, Beck figured that was about both men admitting they would kill each other and could both lose to the race to a more conservative candidate. And Beck admitted it bothers him that Bush clearly went and cut a deal with Romney.
What the deal is, hes not sure, be it a VP slot or Cabinet position, but Beck made it clear, I really dont like Jeb Bush for a variety of reasons.

I think Glenn is absolutely right. Almost immediately, Jebbie hired a couple of Romney staffers.
That’s because the Huckster is not a conservative.
No, I want as many major RINOs in the mix as possible.
Not happening, Romney dropped out, leaving Bush. The real question here is whether or not the Conservatives this year are better in terms of preparedness and less in baggage than Rick Santorum, Hermain Cain, Rick Perry, and Newt Gingrich.
Jeb was on Twitter praising Romney within minutes of the announcement. Also A Romney campaign bigwig joined Camp Jebby this morning.
Good luck to the Jebster going ahead without the base.
Heaven forbid that two or more RINOs split the vote and allow a conservative to get the nomination!
No doubt in my mind. The meeting last weekend.
Yes, let’s all don our Glen Beck autograph model tinfoil hats...
Mitt will take the VP slot if JebaDebbaDo gets the nod.
Secret Deal HA! LOL. Romney just wants him and his family to stay healthy. After all, the Bush dynasty has the CIA and the mob at their disposal.
No, I see Marco Rubio or Susana Martinez getting that. Milt will probably be Treasury, Commerce or Office of the U.S. Trade Representative or some such.
With all due respect to all concerned, this was my first thought when I read last week that Romney and Bush were going to have a pow-wow.
Kudos to Romney for doing the right thing. Maybe Christie, et al will also have second thoughts.
I still cannot get my head around anyone thinking a another Bush stands a chance of becoming POTUS.
Watch Krispy Kreme drop out next month to “spend more time with his food” or something along those lines.
Dole, McCain and Milt got the nomination without the base.
It's up to conservatives to coalesce around a candidate. Jeb will have the plutocracy and CoC on this side, unless a conservative candidate can appeal to a broad tent.
We conservatives now need to reduce our field drastically. There needs to be a mini convention to choose our man.
Doesn’t matter. Most likely, the GOP is going to put forward Bush III - and moron GOP voters will lap it up come 2016. Of course, the REAL Conservatives will stay home, and we’ll have another D president! I say, GREAT!!!! The GOP deserves to go the way of the Dodo bird. I want to vote for Cruz, but not if there’s an R next to his name!
