I’m ready to get behind a Cruz/Walker ticket in 2016!!!
Run Ted Run!
Imagine what Ted Cruz could do with the House we just elected the one with the greatest majority of Republicans since before the 1930’s. what do you think he could do with that Congress we just won, has there ever been such a Congress that Republicans had so much power?
President Reagan had to fight a democrat House most of his time there. Now there is no such thing!
Run Ted Run!
So have I and you’re right, he is the real deal
Cruz has my vote, my money and even my time.
Same here. He’s as genuine and gracious in person, as he is on TV/public eye.
That wont be the line of attack.Cruz has serious Ivy League credentials, and the Democrat would probably suffer badly in the comparison.
I favor nominating a successful governor such as Walker of Wisconsin, for the simple reason that senators arent executives, and governors are.As a campaigner and a strong debater, Cruz would be great as a VP candidate - and he would be a fine potential SCOTUS nominee after a win.
If you nominate a senator and the Dems nominate a governor, you could find yourself in trouble - the last (only) senator to win against a governor was Warren G. Harding, in the wave election of 1920.
I couldn't disagree more. Playing the "race card" is NOT something conservatives should ever stoop to. That's a liberal, divisive ploy. Cruz just needs to be AMERICAN. That's it.
Sign me up!
This is one to get excited about for once.

Yes, and if he takes Palin as a running mate they would be unstoppable.
I could back that ticket!
Also, being a woman did not keep Palin from being attacked.
Agreed. Considering the far worse depth of socialism of our day than in Reagan's day, we need somebody who is up to the task. Cruz is just that man!
Reagan's affable homespun ways were all that was needed to defeat the left back then. Different times now, we need somebody exactly like Cruz, sharper than ANY Democrat. He'll destroy their asinine arguments.
That's pretty much my shortlist. Pence in Indiana could be a darkhorse, too. He's a great communicator. I would be all for Walker, but I need to see if he has 'it' when it comes to campaigning in the national media. He definitely has 'it' in Wisconsin, but running for president is largely a celebrity campaign. TV and bigtime media are a different game. I hope he runs, because I'd like to see if he could do it.
You are making my little heart go pitty-pat!!
Someone help me out here. Cruz is of Cuban ancestry. Is there animosity between the Mexican Americans and the Cuban Americans? I’m wondering, would Mexican Hispanics support a Cuban Hispanic in a run for the Presidency? I mean, the surname “Cruz” is definitely a Hispanic surname. He’d carry Florida for sure, but what about the rest of the States that are heavily “Mexican”? Anybody????
If you nominate a senator and the Dems nominate a governor, you could find yourself in trouble.

Neither Hillary Clinton nor Elizabeth Warren are, or ever have been, a Governor; and one of them will be the Dem nominee.
Its easy to get overconfident right after a big win; lets see how this plays out. The Pubbies could still snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Not enough of the Republican wing of the Republican Party in the Senate or the House to be able to take things for granted.
I just dont think we can afford to leave anything on the table. Governors are stronger candidates; let the Democrats nominate the weaker candidate.
