If you nominate a senator and the Dems nominate a governor, you could find yourself in trouble.

Neither Hillary Clinton nor Elizabeth Warren are, or ever have been, a Governor; and one of them will be the Dem nominee.

Hillary was gonna be the the nominee in ’08, too . . .

It’s easy to get overconfident right after a big win; let’s see how this plays out. The Pubbies could still snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Not enough of the Republican wing of the Republican Party in the Senate or the House to be able to take things for granted.

I just don’t think we can afford to leave anything on the table. Governors are stronger candidates; let the Democrats nominate the weaker candidate.
