Academy Award-winning director Michael Moore had some harsh words for Sen. Harry Reid and his fellow Democrats after they decided not to include an assault weapons ban in gun-control legislation.
Moore ranted against the Senate majority leader after Reid removed Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s proposal to prohibit military-style weapons from the bill because they wouldn’t have the votes. The director behind “Bowling for Columbine” and “Fahrenheit 9/11” said people need to “rise up” against the Nevada senator.
“There will be an Aurora next month and there will be a Sandy Hook the month after that,” Moore told CNN.....

Mikey doesn’t know how it works. Half the Dems in the Senate breathed a sigh of relief when Reid saved them from having to explain to their constituents why they voted their civil rights away. He wants an uprising? He may just get one.
I think he’s right. Liberal are driven by emotion.
So Moore already has more violent acts planned.

And it still wouldn’t make any difference if Reid didn’t have the votes.

I think its kind of interesting that he never seems to notice the lack of school shootings here in gun heavy Michigan.
Why does anyone care what Moore thinks, one way or the other? He’s a squeaky wheel and *we* are giving him the grease he seeks.
If he was talking about Reid's detestable use of the Hawthorne Marines tragedy, Moore would have a point.

My thought as well. Reid simultaneously put the emphasis on himself (and killing an AWB helps him in Nevada) and spared the Dems a tough vote that would have definitely failed after a sizable group of Dem senators voted their reelection and not their Party’s agenda.
This is all political theater. I’m also convinced that Moore is part of it. He’s doing exactly what the Dems need - directing the anger at Reid while deflecting it from Red and Purple State Dems.
And everyone should know that the Dems are paying attention to what happened in NY, where Cuomo’s approval with Republicans has collapsed. Cuomo’s in a nice safe Blue state. There are not only Red states but Purple ones where Dems need GOP and Conservative-leaning Independent crossover to win. I think this ensures a Cucinnili (sp?) victory in VA, for instance.

what good comes out of flint, mi. when i have to drive I-75 through flint, mi, i cringe going through the area. it is sad going through saginaw and seeing the vast gm complexes empty. than taking 96 east through wixom, mi and the vast ford plant is empty.
i am happy i only go to novi, mi once a year now. i avoid going through chicagoland.

Moore does not believe the maure he spreads, it just keeps him rolling along for another 15 minutes.
