Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush told Chris Wallace on FOX News Sunday that there is no Bush fatigue in America.
Chris Wallace: Do you think there would be any Bush baggage? Do you think that would be a problem?
Jeb Bush: No. I dont think there is any Bush baggage at all. I love my brother. Im proud of his accomplishments. I love my dad. I am proud to be a Bush. And, if I run for president, its not because there is something in my DNA that compels me to do it...

Hi, 2DV,
I guess I’m of two minds on this. I can understand why people are sick and tired of the Bush family. I also think GW did his best during a very trying time for the entire nation. And I think that Jeb could get Latino voters on the Republican bandwagon.
That being said—America isn’t a monarchy. However it’s also true that you have to have money and backing to run for president.
I guess I’m not sure how I feel about this. I wish I’d seen his comments live.
I actually came to FR just now to see how people are reacting to this episode of “The Bible” on the History Channel. :) And I saw your thread, and well... :)
Take care, and if we don’t “chat” before Easter—I hope you have a lovely holiday with your family. I always appreciate your posts.
Julie
Jeb Bush's theory, that there is no "Bush Fatigue," will be demolished no later than New Hampshire ... and I personally doubt it will survive Iowa.
And here I thought it was NOT Bush fatigue but Bush policies fatigue - they do all seem to be too similar! I’d guess it is a family affair.
We’ve had enough of your policies and the go along to get along solution. Time for some abrupt changes in almost all policies, so no thank you - stay at home.
Actually, I am really tired of hearing the Bush name also! Not as much as Obama but you get the idea.
Julie,
Thank you very much. Yes, it takes a lot of funding to run for national office. See my tagline below.
Dittos. I remember the first time I saw a one on one interview with GWB and saw how funny he was. I got sucked in because I liked him and wanted to believe in him. Can’t say that for his brother or father. There’s nothing there I could ever connect with at all. Then look at Jeb’s idealogy which is a deal breaker anyway. At least GWB stole geronimo’s skull or some skull:-).
This boy is having delusions.
Could be too much sugar.
Totally delusional.
How's Jed get them on the bandwagon?
Is he going to offer complementary stretch limo rides from Mexico into Texas? Coupons? prizes? Put Pancho Villa's head on a nickle?
What's he going to use as bribes or bait to get them on the bandwagon as you say?
He is right, it's more like Bush nausea.
*Double facepalm* Oh gosh, I forgot about her famous triple strand of pearls.
IMHO they look like the plastic pop beads we played with when I was a kid.
And her taste in clothes is awful...putrid prints.
Jeb, I will vote for Hillary before I vote for you, and I would rather be relieved of my skin than vote for Hillary.
Hillary vs Jeb is the ultimate “Hobson’s Choice”.
Too late, he will be the GOP nominee. And he will be our next president. It has already apparently been decided.
ZZZZZZZZ
PS. It’s the media that wants Jeb.
Like McCain, and Romney.
That gives me fatigue!
It really is. It is literally a one “person” campaign, and I use the word person very, very loosely.
GWB went to West Texas to prove himself.
He was out on the plains doing it alone, because he felt he had too.
GWB never struck me as a fortunate Son.
Jeb however enjoys his position.
Pappy bush loves kenny bunkport and Jeb, well Jeb just aint got the touch.
The bottom line is I would have a burger and a beer with GWB.
Hell, I would do the same with clinton.
But GHWB? JB? Obama?
Awww Hell Naw!
Of course if I was having a burger and beer with Clinton I would be watching his hands the entire time.
