So I live south of Boston. I have a LOT of friends who are former liberals, who voted for O in 2008, alot of them are either not voting this cycle, or in some cases are ACTIVELY contributing to Romney's campaign, by either voting or going up to volunteer in NH!!
NONE of them are supporting Obummer. Now if this isn't a clear indication, give that this is a clear blue state, I don't know what is, that we are about to witness a Romney landslide!
I hope you have told them to vote for Scott Brown!!!!
Obama could only win MA by five points if that. Lots of people voting Romney here.
In my NW side neighborhood in Chicago I have seen 2 Obama signs, 1 Romney. Very few cars with Obama stickers. The bloom is off the rose.
My daughter is a Mom in her early forties and she keeps telling me that all of her female friends are rabid Romney supporters. They live on the South Shore and she said she’s never seen anything like it. The husbands support Mitt too but the ladies are really outspoken.
In my child’s independent school in MA, it was a tight contest. Even though Obama “won,” I was surprised that it was so close. I have no statistics, but I usually figure the “Republican” kids are far, far outnumbered by “Democrats.”
I teach at a Mass state college. The rest of the faculty is definitely for O. They wouldn’t consider anything else. I put fresh ideas out there, but it’s a lost cause among them. They won’t even consider stories that are not sanctioned by the New York Times, so they are ignoring the Benghazi scandal altogether. It’s sad. I wonder when they will wake up.
I can also report from the belly of the beast, Cambridge MA, that a catatonic depression has overcome the masses.
The last liberal I talked to, informing her of the early vote swing - which is a blow upon 50 bruises of the stats I’ve been giving her for 3 months, said (I do not jest) ... “yeah well have you seen who is the most popular Halloween mask?”
They don’t even care to discuss it anymore. They are far more depressed than in Carter days ... the numbers will probably be worse ... but the repudiation of liberalism has never been more complete.
I do believe that my 338 EV prediction, which I thought was a stretch but doable for PA and MI, was, shall we say .... too conservative.
There are a LOT of “closet Romney” supports who scraped the Obama Bumper Sticker off their cars 2-3 years ago who haven;t put on a Romney sticker for fear their car would be vandalized....
The bloom is, indeed, off the rose. Obama is no longer “cool”.
As anyone in the entertainment industry can tell you, once you fall from the “cool” category, you are yesterday’s news.
> I wonder when they will wake up.
Unfortunately for all of us, when it’s too late.
Let’s just hope it never gets that far.
I’m in a western suburb.
All Obama.
All Warren.
All the time.
.
I’m glad to hear there is at least one conservative prof in MA. My high schooler is considering college in the northeast, Boston being one area. We’re in TX and I am not looking forward to the distance, nor the liberalism :(
I live South of Boston, too. While there are a few Warren signs in my town, there are NONE for Obama. At least 10 for Romney.
Well, Boston is a great college town. As long as your kid has a strong sense of who she is she will be fine. As for Mitt & Mass, lol, let’s be real. Obama will take it by at least 10%. I live the next town over from Mitt, less than a mile or so from his house & Mitt is not even going to win in Belmont where he lives.
Fanatic Liberals, are now struck with a surpressed terror and frantic hatred surging. They know they are soon to revert to their usual role of bitter loser.
Bah hah hahah hhah !!
Thanks indubz. And Fauxahontas is going to lose in a close one, but it’s getting less close every day. Even in Taxachusetts, the great middle is really sick of Obama and his baldfaced lies.
