Its not getting a lot of attention, but the end of the embattled GOP primary fight has led to a broad poll bounce for Mitt Romney that is starting to scare Obama advisors. To name a few:
-- CBS News/New York Times has Romney over President Obama by a margin of 46 percent to 43 percent. In their new poll Romney also now leads among women by 2 percent and has seized independents 43 percent to 36 percent.
-- Gallup has Romneys favorability rating jumping from 39 percent in February to 50 percent. Among independents hes seen an 11 percent rise to 48 percent favorable.
-- Rasmussen shows him winning North Carolina, home to the Democratic National Convention, 51 percent to 43 percent.
It has one Democratic advisor telling Secrets, Im worried. I keep asking myself what is it that he is saying that would have voters go for him again. They need to find that message.
His message IS the problem. The more they hear from him the less they like him.
It’s a secret but if you promise not to tell anyone, I’ll give you a clue.
It’s not thing he’s saying. It’s the fact that HE IS NOT OBAMA!
A ham sandwich, no mustard, on plain stale bread, would poll roughly even with Obama right now.
I predicit that Romney will defeat President Obama on 6 November.
Obama is like Jimmy Carter getting defeated by Ronald Reagan in 1980.
Surely FReepers can advise Obama on how to attack Romney. I mean, they’ve been doing it for a whole year. And look how successful they’ve been at it.
His record is his problem. He can’t run on the hope and change theme anymore. He can’t run on the anti-Bush sentiment this time. He is no longer a blank canvass.
The media can’t save him. For the first time in his strange life, Barack Hussein Obama has an actual record and it sucks by any measurement.

You’re right.
I think even Obama knows he’s going to lose.
And may 0bama be humiliated like no one has ever been humiliated.
I hope so!
Could happen.
Romney sucks.
Yea verily, Romney doth suck at the hindquarters of a rented mule.
Romney sucks.
FUBO!!!
I wouldn’t advise 0bama to do that. After all, their candidates lost and endorsed Romney.
Why would he want the next term? The Obamacare mandates settle in and make Americans pay, Taxmaggedon... etc. The next President has been set up to fail. Only a Reaganite could withstand all the deleterious effects of the last four years. We do not have a Reaganite, we have the grandfather of State Socialism. In 2016, we must primary a Real Conservative against Romney.
Obama’s problem is summed up well by this old saying...
“Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.”
Agree the next President is set up to fail. Perhaps the real plan is to stick Romney in the job and blame him for the next financial crisis which will hit in early 2013. Romney will be on the defensive from day one so there will be no repeal of Obamacare. After three years of economic depression, and non stop Democrat propaganda from the media, the stage will be set for the triumphant return of Obama in 2016.
