JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) -- Sarah Palin says it's not too late for someone to jump into the Republican presidential race.
Asked by Fox Business Network about the likelihood that she'd become a candidate, the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee said it's not too late for "folks" to jump in. Said Palin: "Who knows what will happen in the future."(continued)

Not true. Big Hollywood is reporting Sarah Palin’s Alaska has been picked up for Season 2.

I don't think so either... BUT, let's say she did.
Perry, Bachmann- GONE. Newt's support will be cut by at least half, which leaves her fighting with Romney.

Said Palin: "Who knows what will happen in the future." She might even re-paint her bus and tour about grooving to the attention.
She might Tweet or post on her Facebook page. Wouldn't that be awesome?

In some places even "write in" candidates must be officially recognized to be counted.
Palin's grasping at straws here. It's desperate and sad. This is the field (minus 'Herb' Cain) that chose to run for real. Since everyone is bashing Newt and he's falling in the polls, it looks like Romney will be foisted upon the voters. Or, who knows, maybe Ron Paul!

You feel a need to run to the authorities if someone speaks disfavorably of Palin?
That is an incredibly weak position. Man up. Handle it yourself.

I think she's told us she's not running, and I'm not going to speculate about any possibility of a change.
I'm betting she will put a lot of effort in to the congressional races, she'll likely stump for whoever wins the GOP nomination(she said she would), and she'll be on the short list for a cabinet position.
I don't think she's going to go hide any time soon, she will continue to be a force.
I hope the field narrows to Newt, Perry and Romney after Iowa, and that one of them becomes the conservative favorite shortly thereafter so Mitt can go pound sand. *Awaits flaming for suggesting either one is conservative*

Palin's grasping at straws here.
I'm not surprised that she's not enthusiastic about Bachmann, Perry, Gingrich, Santorum, etc. I think she's being honest in that aspect.
I got jumped on by Palin supporters for pointing out that I don't like her waiting to see who is the frontrunner after Iowa, since it seems more like she endorses based on who she thinks will win and not necessarily who she agrees the most with, and because it places too much importance on Iowa.
At this point, if she's not enthusiastic about any of the candidates, then she should should refrain from endorsing, come out and say that, and just handle her TV show, and wait and see how things play out. She's young, she has plenty of time to put together a serious run down the road.
