Herman Cain will do just fine thank you.
Who do you support?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
You are so right. We still have that freedom. God Bless you :-)

You have not guessed yet? Sarah Palin. The left gave us a newbie - a mean one - I will NOT vote for another newbie, even if he is less men that the one we have now. We put the bar so low with obama and we do the same with Cain. What an ego thinking that he does not need to learn the issues..oh well, I guess the intellect of the population went so low that even conservatives now put the bar under the ground.
Cain is a very good example of total incompetence at governing or knowledge of basics foreign or domestic issues, but yet, everybody loves him.. Sorry, not playing that game. our country is way too far gone to put another "learn on the job" guy there.

I guess we’re not in total disagreement.
It would be great if Palin somehow ended up a candidate.
No question.

Thank you so much! Then may be if you could go to C4P and help the "Reconsider" movement that would be great. Look, I am not a dreamer but I would be upset with myself if I don't do something to help this cause. Well, if we don/t succeed and Sarah absolutely refuse to come back and save this beautiful country, then that's it. I am very upset she bailed out but I still have a little hope.
I cannot even imagine her endorsing any of these candidates. So is she going to let the country dies? If so then she is not who I thought she was.
But then that will be my fault to have had faith. But as for now, I am still trying to fight for the ONLY good cause. After all Georges Washington did not want to be in the White House either but he finally did. I am hopeful that if we have an enough large number of people who ask her to come back, may be she will if she thinks We The People have done our job - enough of us called her. Oh well..we still have one year. Let's keep the hope :-)

A brokered convention is exactly what will happen IF no single person running for the Republican candidacy is chosen by the majority.

The folks behind the TV ad need to do some research regarding deadlines across the country.
The field is set. Time to move on and pick someone acceptable or least unacceptable of the group.

Obviously you know nothing about Herman Cain. But that’s okay, we’ll move on without you.

I’m going to stay on the sideline, though I totally agree with you.
I was an early and enthusiastic Palin supporter. I pretty much crashed and burned when she backed out. I mean, it really hit me hard.
I am still stunned. However I refuse to cling.
I believe Palin by backing out harmed America. That probably strikes many as absurd and melodramatic, but I still believe Palin’s circumstances leading up to this election were a once in a generation pivot point, an opportunity to actually alter the course of American history.
Seriously. I still believe that.
I’ve stopped being bitter, but I’m not ready yet to try to support her unless and until she looks at what is good for America.
I understand the whole family thing, but she was our best hope.
She really was. Her quitting was a very negative thing for the GOP and for America.

Yet it’s almost a perfect storm for an “anti-Romney” and one after another the other candidates have cut their own throats.

Why Sarah?
My family. I don't want them hurt.
We want you Sarah. Are you hurt?
I'm OK. You go home and grow strong and straight and take care of this country.
We've got things for you to do.
America wants you. I know she does.
SARAH!
SAARRRAAHHH!

I have to agree.
I believe that Palin’s faith was weakened, and her withdrawal was a victory for Satan.
Newt’s rise is the same.

I believe Palin’s faith is probably resolute and unchanged. I respect her choices, even while I think she made the wrong one.
However the lack of support she received from the GOP establishment was most likely what caused this.

Given your thoughts about Herman Cain, count brain dead democrats as your closest political allies. Herman’s about as smart as Reagan, when commonsense in factored in. And, please slither on through here, before the scabies start jumpin’ off.

Geez, 2ndDiv! You might consider being more assertive. Entirely too many people feel free to tell you what to do. :)

I turned 18 a long time ago and youre not my mother, so Ill get over it when I want to.Obsession is an unhealthy thing. Palin isn't running in 2012. Period. It's not going to happen. It's long past time to move on and let Sarah stick to the political commentary and advocacy that she apparently feels is more her calling at this time.
To: Longbow1969
Shes not running. It isnt going to happen. Let it go. Don't be a broken record. Let people be.
Many conservatives still see her as the best standard bearer going forward into 2012, despite her decision not to run.

I'm precisely matching your wavelength here, friend. I couldn't have said it better if I tried. That is exactly the situation we're in, and the result of her stepping aside.
I honestly cannot believe that this isn't weighing on her conscience day and night. It would literally kill me, if I were in her shoes.
