Isn’t that what you said before B.O.

The only thing that produced was you and Joe blowing smoke up our a***** about a “summer of recovery”.

Stand aside. Do the decent thing. Do what LBJ did.

Poor Obama. He always talks about the great advice he is getting from his inner circle. He never talks about the fact that his inner circle has the least real world experience of any administration.

He then reverts to his crony Wall Street friends who are busy borrowing free money from the Fed and using their inside information to make profits. They don’t care about the economy.... they just care about the market.

When that does’nt work, he pulls out the Oracle of Omaheimers and talks about taxing the rich.

Obama just can’t admit that his new ideas are the same failed ideas they keep doing expecting a different result. His blatant effort to shore up his union base with government spending is obvious.

What I would’nt give to be able to replace every fake applause line in his teleprompter with “and our children can pay for it!”

EPA Regulation Would Cost $1.2 Million Per Job Created

August 12, 2011

(CNSNews.com) - The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been promoting the job creation and health aspects of its impending regulations on the electric industry, but in congressional testimony an agency official admitted the impending regulations would cost business $10.9 billion and create only 9,000 full time jobs.

On July 26th House Subcommittee on Regulatory Affairs listened to testimony on the issue. Lawmakers questioned energy and EPA officials on the Cross- State Air Pollution Control (CSAPR) for coal energy plants and other regulations coming from the EPA.

“So,what is your estimate that the cost is per job?”, asked Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (R-N.Y.).

EPA Deputy Administrator Robert Perciasepe responded, “The annual cost of the rule is $10.9 billion with ultimately around 9,000 permanent jobs.”

Buerkle continued, “And so, what is that cost per job.”

After a long pause, Perciasepe replied “Well, it - the purpose of the rule is to achieve 17,000 – avoid premature deaths for 17,000 adults, 11,000 non-fatal heart attacks, 5,300 hospital admissions, 6,900 emergency room visits, 4,500 cases of chronic bronchitis, 11,000 cases of acute bronchitis those are the things we add up as the benefit side.”

Buerkle pressed, “I understand all that, but your using this as a justification because this creates jobs ,we have to look at the cost per job and say ‘does that even make sense?”

Mathematically, the answer is $1.21 million per job.

EPA: Regulations would require 230,000 new employees, $21 billion cost

The Environmental Protection Agency has said new greenhouse gas regulations, as proposed, may be “absurd” in application and “impossible to administer” by its self-imposed 2016 deadline. But the agency is still asking for taxpayers to shoulder the burden of up to 230,000 new bureaucrats — at a cost of $21 billion — to attempt to implement the rules. The EPA aims to regulate greenhouse gas emissions through the Clean Air Act, even though the law doesn’t give the EPA explicit power to do so. The agency’s authority to move forward is being challenged in court by petitioners who argue that such a decision should be left for Congress to make.

The proposed regulations would set greenhouse gas emission thresholds above which businesses must file for an EPA permit and complete extra paperwork in order to continue operating. If the EPA wins its court battle and fully rolls out the greenhouse gas regulations, the number of businesses forced into this regulatory regime would grow tremendously — from approximately 14,000 now to as many as 6.1 million.

These new regulatory efforts are not likely to succeed, the EPA admits, but it has decided to move forward regardless. “While EPA acknowledges that come 2016, the administrative burdens may still be so great that compliance … may still be absurd or impossible to administer at that time, that does not mean that the Agency is not moving toward the statutory thresholds,” the EPA wrote in a September 16 court briefing.

The EPA is asking taxpayers to fund up to 230,000 new government workers to process all the extra paperwork, at an estimated cost of $21 billion. That cost does not include the economic impact of the regulations themselves.

“Hiring the 230,000 full-time employees necessary to produce the 1.4 billion work hours required to address the actual increase in permitting functions would result in an increase in Title V administration costs of $21 billion per year,” the EPA wrote in the court brief.

The petitioner suing the EPA is the Coalition for Responsible Regulation, a trade group reportedly linked to domestic chemical companies.

The Federal Empire just needs to cut spending and wipe out most regulations. Push it back down to the states.

If they would stop obstructing Energy (Nuclear and Oil) then tons of jobs would be created both directly and indirectly.

Barry says he has introduced the best ideas he has heard.

He is full of dung.

The best Ideas are these

1. Drill.
2. Stop Obamacare
3. Freeze all regulations and rescid half of them already in effect.
4. Do the above and GTF out of the way, America will know what to do.
