I saw this posted on another forum, and thought it would be a great idea for here.
If there was a disaster in your neighborhood, and you could only ask one person from the following list for help and advice, who would you ask and why?
- Barak Obama
- Ron Paul
- Rick Perry
- Mitt Romney
- Michele Bachmann
- Newt Gingrich
- John Huntsman
- Rick Santorum
- Herman Cain

“Herman Cain”
He is an engineer and the only one to give a sound and reasonable response.

He is an engineer and the only one to give a sound and reasonable response. No, he has degrees in Math and Computer Science; not engineering - so he's only a demi-God. But, I do agree with your rationale for the same reason.

Well I know I would not ask FEMA.

Ron Paul. Although I cannot imagine ever voting for him. I just figure he has about 5 years of food stored up.
Too bad Chuck Norris isn't on the list.

Any medical doctors on this list?

I actually thought about Ron Paul also. If you were limited to one person, a doctor might be a good first choice.

If there was a disaster in your neighborhood, and you could only ask one person from the following list for help Rick Perry. He is the one most likely to be armed and help fight off the looters and zombies.

What a silly, useless question.
Here’s mine “who would win a fight between vampires and zombies?”
To: Brookhaven
Herman Cain....he’s never worked for the government (in an elected office)

Ron Paul is a medical doctor.
I’m surprised there aren’t any votes for Obama yet. He could get everyone organized to take supplies away from the people that prepared for a disaster, and give them to people that didn’t make any preperations.

Why is Sarah Palin not on this list?
She's perfect to ask any questions before, during and after a disaster. Her answers would make us survivors.
To: Brookhaven
Not that I would need advice but I would consider Michele Bachmann to be the one with the most similar experiences to mine.

Rick Perry without a doubt. TX has had considerable disasters since he has been governor. Plus of course he likely has a license to carry.
To: donhunt
I also left out Chris Christie and Rudy Guilliani.

Given the list posted above I can say I has right in
planing to expect no help at all and hopefully not
needing any.
But if I HAD to, I’d pick Ron Paul.
At least he can pull a bullet out of someone.
