Iowa is a bellwweather of nothing! It's a waste of time to the nation at large because all that gets discussed is how much the candidates are willing to extract from the rest of to pay off the farmers growing corn for ethanol! Yeaa welfare for the farmers!!
Ummm...maybe she is not running?
My theory is that Palin won’t run, but she will push Rick Perry’s campaign.
She an Perry are friends. I think you may be right.
I don’t think she’s going to run either. I wouldn’t rule out a VP slot though.
Bachmann/Palin anyone? Talk about heads exploding (and my pants too but that’s another subject).
I know nothing about Rick Perry other than that he’s been Governor of Texas F0REVER. I guess I should start reading up.
Palin isn’t running. Candidates already have teams on the ground.
I don’t know much about him either. I do know some folks around here call him Governor Goodhair.
The current candidates are wasting their time, none of them has a shot. So why bother wasting money and resources now, why not wait until later to get into the game.
Waiting another 5-6 months for a premier candidate is not a serious matter.
Endorsements mean FAR FAR less than ever. Folks will cast their ballots based on what they "feel" anyway. And, Palin will stir 'em up if she speaks on the stump there.
I don't think that's necessarily true anymore.
Whoa!
We have rarely (if ever) differed on anything during my brief tenure here. But this is really quite a surprise. Presuming it's not something from the Fake Jerry, what makes you think Sarah Palin would advocate a Rick Perry presidential campaign?
If nothing else, I think there's a strong tinge of Texas fatigue that makes anyone from here a non-starter for at least another decade. I don't like it myself but the rest of the country seemingly wants a break from anything or anybody from here in the Lone Star state.
And I think Perry's support from true Conservatives is really soft. Sure he'd be far to the right in places like New Jersey and Oregon, but a good percentage of Texans place him in RINO-land on the left/right continuum.
So please explain since I just may be too dense to see a Palin/Perry connection.
The media is just trying to get her to show her hand.
She’s too sly for them.
As others here have mentioned, they are good pals. And Perry has been ahead of the curve on the Anti-Washington DC thing.
He’s a slippery one, he can convince people that he’s whatever they want him to be.
“My theory is that Palin wont run, but she will push Rick Perrys campaign.”
Surely we can do better than Gov. GoodHair.
How about DeMint, Bachmann, Cain, West?
