As others here have mentioned, they are good pals. And Perry has been ahead of the curve on the Anti-Washington DC thing.
He’s a slippery one, he can convince people that he’s whatever they want him to be.
Romney does that too. But without knowing more I'll give Perry the benefit of the doubt I won't give to Romney.
