Jon Stewart sized up some of the “crazy” Republican candidates, quickly taking down Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann before setting his comedic crosshairs on the “odd-headed reality show star” Donald Trump. After playing a clip of Trump questioning President Obama’s birth certificate, Stewart yelled in response, “his mother was American you [bleep]wad!”
Stewart realized the Republicans have at least one plausible candidate in Mitt Romney, or as Stewart referred to him, “Captain Buzzkill.” Romney received some light comedic jabs from Stewart, but also a warning. Stewart advised, “you’re competing with crazy people Mitt. I’m a competent businessman is not going to cut through.” Instead, Stewart suggested that Trump’s “crazy” talk is just the type of “candy” that Romney might have to utilize so that he doesn’t fade from the media spotlight.

More of the Democrats telling the Republicans who the best Republican to run in the election against a Democrat would be. And you’re right, we’ll have to poll the other comedians to round out all this sound advice. Carrot Top hasn’t weighed in, nor Gallagher. Perhaps Andrew Dice Clay’s nuanced political views will be of as great value. We should check.
So we need Stewart to vet our candidates?

I’d rather see Andrew “Dice” Clay in the White House than the currant occupant, almost all democrats or RINOs, much less Gov. Palin or Mr. Trump. LOL

Is Stewart really this ignorant concerning eligibility or is it simply a part of his schtick? I know that Colbert didn’t know the difference between a COLB and a LFBC and looked the total idiot trying to equate the two.
