Good point. Also, Ward thought that Puerto Rico was an independent country. His last month of campaigning was one gaffe after another.

That’s a huge development, actually. I can’t really see where else in the district Ward can pick up any more votes...

That's the GOP machine for you.
They brought in Palin, got an endorsement and thought it would work.
It's almost like the GOP is working against us.
To: Minus_The_Bear
Well, for a time, he did look like a great candidate...

In Ada County, only 15 out of 141 precincts have reported. I had expected that to be a Ward stronghold, being more urban and media influenced, but Labrador leads there so far.

Well, that link I posted earlier stated Labrador won Ada’s absentees.

Which site are you getting your results? I’m refreshing the Sec of State’s results and I think they’re a little behind.

More Ada precincts and Labrador has expanded his lead there to 2000+.

It’s pretty clear that the late-deciding voters broke for Labrador. If he wins, I believe that he would be the first Republican Congressman of Puerto Rican decent to be elected to Congress.

Counting is slow as molasses... at the rate they’re going, it’ll be 3 1/2 more hours+ before all the votes are in.
