Giuliani Notes: Dollars for Rudy (Upcoming Fundraisers for Mayor Rudy Giuliani)
Flapsblog ^ | Jan 27, 2007

January 29, 2007

A Giuliani fund-raiser will be held Jan. 29 in Pacific Palisades, Calif., at the home of Bill Simon, the 2002 Republican candidate for governor of California, costing $2,300 a person and $4,600 per couple.

January 30, 2007:

Mary Bono’s campaign is sponsoring a golf event to raise funds for Giuliani’s committee on Tuesday, at the Rancho Mirage home and golf course of Edra Blixseth, Porcupine Creek Golf Club. Information: (310) 500-4284 or by e-mail at events@marybono.com

February 1, 2007:

Texas Republican contributors are being solicited to spend $30,000 for dinner with former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston Feb. 1 to finance his “presidential exploratory committee.” The “private” dinner will follow a 6:30 to 8 p.m. cocktail reception, costing $2,100 a person and $4,200 for couples.

The best-known host of Giuliani’s Houston event is billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens Jr., chairman of the private equity firm BP Capital Management. Also on Giuliani’s Texas fund-raising team are Tom Hicks, whose company owns the Texas Rangers baseball team; oil industry executive Jim Lee; and lawyer Patrick C. Oxford.

But, we have these little things called "primaries" first.

Isn't EV smart. There's so much I'm sure he believes we don't know :-)

I'll bet he would counsel you on who to vote for, too :-) I'll bet he's got some nice spam that could enlighten us all - and maybe we'd learn that Rudy Guiliani is NOT a social conservative :-)

Those are 'honorary members' as listed on the website, not actual participants.

I don't recall anyone stating that all of the people on the list, including Giuliani, were at Stonewall. I've brought up Giuliani's support for and membership in the Stonewall Veterans to demonstrate how he associates with radical gay groups. I mean, the whole reason for this group's existence is to celebrate and commemorate their RIOTS against LAW ENFORCEMENT. They are the ORIGINAL radical gay group and Giuliani was best buddies with them while Mayor. Now, they spend their time promoting gay marriage and have partnered with International A.N.S.W.E.R. to fight the war and provide aid and comfort to the enemy. That is the group that Giuliani is STILL associated with as his name is still listed as a member. His record as mayor of bringing them into offical functions at the Gracie Mansion, riding as grand marshall in the Stonewall Vet vehicle in gay pride parades, and sending multipled glowing proclamations to the group further cement his undying love for them.

But I never said he participated in the riots. Who the heck did say that?

It's a crock; their entire anti-Rudy campaign here is built on a tissue of lies and specious garbage!

I still think 'honorary member' is a very far cry from what the poster was trying to allude by lack of admission... but then 1/2 truths work until found out.

Check out the Constitution Party candidates. You won't be voting for the Republican for president, against Clinton/Gore/Obama/Edwards. You have seminal and profound differences with the three personages with any hope to secure the GOP nomination, and must move on, to save the Republic, before it is too late. Get on your fleet footed horse, you modern day Paul Revere you, and spread not only the news, because it is not mere news, but the alarm!

Don't you love it. These people give aid and comfort to Margaret Sanger's disciples, and then they have the temerity to blame the holocaust on the people who oppose it.

People oppose your point of view because it's militant and hostile. It's embarrassing, and everyone else in the conservative movement gets labeled militant and hostile. I don't know a single FReeper who denies or blames the holocaust on people who opposed it. Those who deny it or oppose it belong to the culture of death.

Damn right I am fighting the general election while your busy here trying to destroy GOP candidates.

How arrogant can you get? You think without your nasty and sanctimonious input that others can't make up their own minds?

FWIW, you come across like the Taliban. Care to actually PROMOTE a candidate? Heck no, you apparantly live to hate and to trash.

Our primaries will determine the GOP nominee and it'll be one of the candiates who can raise the needed $100 MILLION --- which greatly reduces the chances of a dark horse riding to your rescue.

Worse than that, even. I fear that some may have attended Catholic schools.

True enough.

Yes, but for MONTHS, people have been posting that and claiming that RUDY was there! He wasn't!

Facts matter; sadly, they don't matter at all to some people here.

The numbers are on our side in those fights, yet they're interested in lobbing grenades into the trenches which they're in.

Giuliani, were at Stonewall. I've brought up Giuliani's support for and membership in the Stonewall Veterans to demonstrate how he associates with radical gay groups.

So, do you figure that anybody who supported the Civil Rights movement in the 50's or early 60's also supported the Black Panthers?

I know what it says, I also KNOW what has been posted about it, by the liars here.

But hey, EV, as long as you're on the thread talking about how winning is really no big deal, why worry? I've won this round and shall continue winning and you, YOU will continue to lose. But hey..................losing is really no bid deal either; is it? You have such an almost perfect record of LOSING; why ruin it now?
