A Giuliani fund-raiser will be held Jan. 29 in Pacific Palisades, Calif., at the home of Bill Simon, the 2002 Republican candidate for governor of California, costing $2,300 a person and $4,600 per couple.
January 30, 2007:
Mary Bonos campaign is sponsoring a golf event to raise funds for Giulianis committee on Tuesday, at the Rancho Mirage home and golf course of Edra Blixseth, Porcupine Creek Golf Club. Information: (310) 500-4284 or by e-mail at events@marybono.com
February 1, 2007:
Texas Republican contributors are being solicited to spend $30,000 for dinner with former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston Feb. 1 to finance his presidential exploratory committee. The private dinner will follow a 6:30 to 8 p.m. cocktail reception, costing $2,100 a person and $4,200 for couples.
The best-known host of Giulianis Houston event is billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens Jr., chairman of the private equity firm BP Capital Management. Also on Giulianis Texas fund-raising team are Tom Hicks, whose company owns the Texas Rangers baseball team; oil industry executive Jim Lee; and lawyer Patrick C. Oxford.
You could point out the almost HALF of the babies in New York City were killed before they could be born. And Giuliani was so proud of that fact he went to abortion group dinners and accepted awards from militant pro-abortion groups like NARAL.
JFK Jr. was easy, now we need to do some scut work on the rest of the names.
BTW, IF Rudy had been there and arrested and prosecuted, he would NEVER haves been allowed to then hold the positions he has done, ever since. But nobody seems to bother about THAT fact either! LOL
If you're giving moral support to a leftist like Giuliani, winning means nothing anyway. For example, the Republican won the governorship in MA, and what was gained? Gay marriages are now being performed, in spite of the law, the radical gay agenda is being pushed daily at schoolchildren, socialized medicine has been passed, and the state's GOP lays in ruins. The wrongheadedness of your point of view is expressed in my tagline...
Are you are having trouble with comprehension tonight? Bill Clinton won because of lot of people drank the Perot koolaid. Not me -- I supported and worked for Bush and then Dole in 1996 and Dole was not my first choice by a mile but I did like Jack Kemp.
Losing is not an option a campaign considers when running a candidate unless you support someone that doesn't have a chance to win because their support never gets about 2-3%!
BTW, Clinton winning was a big deal that set our military and their weapon systems back years and anyone with that attitude that it wasn't a big deal, doesn't have a clue!
My tagline says it all. Democrats are the enemy and I note that Jim had to remind you of that pesky fact a couple of nights ago.
Now hit abuse on me and be done with it.
Keyes has NEVER won a single elected office; not a one. Is THAT why you claim winning isn't such a big deal? Well, is it?
If you don't win, guess what happens to your plans and goals? They go phiffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft.
That may be the best comment of the night! Way to go!
Exactly so and in spades!
:-)
The problem with your viewpoint, that the only thing that matters is that a candidate with your party's letter beside his name wins, is that much more important considerations are put aside...questions that go to whether they're worth electing in the first place. It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.
Y'all have the cart so far out in front, it's going to go over the cliff about an hour before the horse.
Those are 'honorary members' as listed on the website, not actual participants.
The proof in what I'm saying is contained in your tagline: You're already trying to fight the General Election.
But, we have these little things called "primaries" first.
In a year...
FOTFLOL! Great post, Dolphy!!!!!
Glad somebody pointed that simple fact out to her before she broke her arm patting herself on the back.
So this far we have a 14 or 15 year old and a 9 year old fighting cops at Stonewall! LOL
:)
You've completely misunderstood that post. The more you crow about your "find," the sillier you look.
Worse than that, even. I fear that some may have attended Catholic schools.
