A Giuliani fund-raiser will be held Jan. 29 in Pacific Palisades, Calif., at the home of Bill Simon, the 2002 Republican candidate for governor of California, costing $2,300 a person and $4,600 per couple.

Mary Bonos campaign is sponsoring a golf event to raise funds for Giulianis committee on Tuesday, at the Rancho Mirage home and golf course of Edra Blixseth, Porcupine Creek Golf Club. Information: (310) 500-4284 or by e-mail at events@marybono.com
February 1, 2007:
Texas Republican contributors are being solicited to spend $30,000 for dinner with former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston Feb. 1 to finance his presidential exploratory committee. The private dinner will follow a 6:30 to 8 p.m. cocktail reception, costing $2,100 a person and $4,200 for couples.
The best-known host of Giulianis Houston event is billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens Jr., chairman of the private equity firm BP Capital Management. Also on Giulianis Texas fund-raising team are Tom Hicks, whose company owns the Texas Rangers baseball team; oil industry executive Jim Lee; and lawyer Patrick C. Oxford.
It must feel good to hate, judging by the hatred for Rudy I've seen posted here.
You and others who have posted it, claim than all of the names on that list are of people who were actually at STONEWALL and took part in the riots. REALLY?
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was born in 1954. That would have made him all of 14 or 15, at that time, depending upon when his birthday is. CHILDREN WERE NOT AT THE STONEWALL THEN, NOR DID THEY ENGAGE IN THE MELEE.
And guess what? That list of names is NOT of those who were there either; including Rudy Giuliani!
You may aspire to be a 21rst century Goebbels, but no matter how many times you and your ilk try to sell your lies, it isn't going to work!
So true -- at least they quit bashing the President -- guess they consider him old news!
The only compliment I have with the Clinton administration, if you could call it that, was the Clinton administration was simply a waste of time, money, and resources. They think they're the smartest people in the room. They're not. They just managed to get away with a lot of crap for 8 years.
Winning is not the only consideration, sorry. Bill Clinton "won." Big deal.
Hatred can only extend so far. It's certainly not good for ones body to be filled with such rage and vitriolic nonsense.
How many abortions were there, while Hunter has sat in the House?
Crock o' crap...Eliot Spitzer was 9 years old in 1969.
Don't you love it. These people give aid and comfort to Margaret Sanger's disciples, and then they have the temerity to blame the holocaust on the people who oppose it.
They may not have any morals, but they certainly have chutzpah.
Some "history experts" are ignorant of the subject which they profess such knowledge of. They're all products of a failed publik skrool system.
Eliot Spitzer was 9 years old during the Stonewall Riots. This article is a crock.
No, of course he won't have to raise much money at all. After all, why raise money, when you know that you're going to lose? :-)
Thank you for the ping. I really can't believe these people put this stuff out there with a straight (no pun intended) face.
Damn right, billclinton winning was a big deal. Eight years worth, as a matter of fact, but of course, "winning" is something that's elusive to you and your candidates.
He was wrestling with RFK, Jr. in the sandbox while their parents were elsewhere in the vicinity.
You did the right thing and got a lawyer to go after the butchers that killed the infant in your hospital room. That was the right thing to do. The pro-life organization gave you the right advice. They should have recommended an attorney, however. Probably should have found you one that would have worked, independently form them, pro bono. But you can't judge the entire pro-life movement on that.
The pregnant girl you helped should have gone to a crisis pregnancy center who provides abortion alternatives. Again, the pro-life group should have put her in touch with them. I'm bewildered as to why they did not unless you had no such organizations in your area. Did she approach a pro-life church for help? I know for a fact that she could have got help from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and her child would have been placed with a very grateful, loving family.
I just can't understand, however, that given the horrible experience that you went through, and knowing beyond a doubt that abortion is murder, that you would show such disdain for other pro-life people who have similar experiences or have come through their own path to realize that every human life is sacred and deserves protection. And what I really can't understand is how you could support Giuliani who is the most pro-abortion Republican presidential candidate ever. This guy supports partial birth abortion and said he would pay to have his own grandchild butchered if his daughtered asked him to. I've never, in my life, encountered a Republican with a more extreme pro-abortion stance and record as Giuliani's. Yet, you continue to support him by coming to his defense and slamming the pro-life conservatives who are fighting his nomination. I can't conceive of what twisted values can put someone in the position where you are. And given the experience you described, I am at a total loss to explain how someone could arrive at the position you're constantly taking here.
I had gay friends when I lived in NYC...I would have shot them, honest, but Rudy took my guns :)
