I love that song!! Claude King's voice is hard to copy for today's degenerate music making Justin Timberlakes of the world. (I do like some of Justin's music. In twenty years, people will be embarrassed to admit they listened to him. HELLO MICHAEL JACKSON FANS! Hehehe!)

HELLO MICHAEL JACKSON FANS! Hehehe!
LOL!!! (Thank God I was never one of those < insert appropriate descriptive noun >!!!) ;)
After a diversion into Burl Ives singing "Little Bitty Tear," I just pulled out a couple of Beatles. I'm thinking maybe some Andy Williams next. "Can't Get Used to Losing You" is a good one. "Moon River" is okay, but it gets old (no pun inteneded) fast. (I have to fill in the downtown between your posts somehow, you know. I certainly don't feel like working! Or at least not until after a nap. LOL)

Working? What is that?? Gosh, that sounds like a very hideous thing to do. Let's make a promise not to do any of that. Let the responsible adults do that. Hehehe!
UGH!! My oldest is having an emotional meltdown. He's upset that he can't find his school in the school cancellation listing. Good grief!! It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow. It's the calm before the storm. He'd never make it in Ohio with all that snow. That's for sure!

Hi Ma!! Still in Sunny Virginia! The stores are packed today. Whew! And the roads were busy because everyone wants to watch the ships leave. (AS if that doesn't happen a lot here. Goodness! LOL!)

Good afternoon, amm! Your son showed great restraint. How hard that must have been. Thanks to Brad and your other sons for their service to our America, and to you and your whole family.

ABC is reporting as I type that the hurricane is being downgraded. Since I don't know anything about hurricanes, this would seem to at least take a LITTLE of the pressure off. Yes? Inquiring Ma's want to know. I sure am glad you got all your outside stuff done yesterday.

WHERE IS MY CATERPILLAR? HELLO?? I refuse to answer any inquiring minds without my caterpillar! Hehehe!
Actually, they think it could possibly gather strength once it hits the gulf stream and then come inland. We are just waiting. That's all we can do at this time! *HUGS*

The Navy has requested that families leave the area. It's kind of funny because I didn't realize it until I went on base and I was asked if I was planning on evacuating. Nope! Although, The Sailor wants to make my dad happy and if it gathers strength tomorrow then we'll be headed to Ohio. Our neighbor volunteered to watch Kipper, but the boys went ballistic at that thought. So? We'll have to take the Wonderdog! LOL!

I've gotta run and get stuff done for the upcoming stuff on the threads this week. So?? I'll try to call. If I don't make it back on, please know that I'm praying for all our troops for their safe journey home. (Although, I hope you don't plan on coming home during the Hurricane. Then I pray that God will give you the patience until the storm passes!) If we lose power, I will contact Ma and let her know how everyone is. Honestly! We'll all be okay. Just taking precautions. (I should be back on later!! I will be ready to play!!)
*HUGS* to everyone!
Hurricanes suck, but so does France. Ain't life grand? Hehe!

LOL!!! Yep, except for a few more things I'd add, that pretty much sums up life. ;)
(I seldom "mute" Neil Cavuto's show, but then today I had to: He had this Congresswoman [D -- surprise, suprise!] on who said it's time we start playing nice and fair with France and quit being so hard on 'em. I refuse to listen to filthy language like that!)
