Good points. And what about murder? There was a case a few years ago where a young woman in Maryland met a man on the internet, travelled a distance to his home, where he promptly killed her. He maintained that she wanted to die, and that's why she came to him. Sort of like an internet Dr. Kevorkian service I suppose. He was charged with murder. But if the Supreme Court upholds the rights for gays to participate in whatever depravity they wish, doesn't that mean that people like him could get away with murder, using "consenting adults" as the excuse? All a defense lawyer would have to maintain is that "its a private matter" and that would be it.

Andrew Sullivan has gone off of the deep end many years ago, this rambling now proves it. He, and other poor souls who are inclined to this deviancy, are so obsessed with lust, it has become their self identity, their self image.
What is next Andy, necrophillia? how about pederasty for boys 15 and up? Does anything go?
You need help Mr. Sullivan, get a life.

That's one of the most pernicious aspects of his article, he went out of his way to try to redefine sodomy as ANY non-procreative sex, whether within marriage or not. Hence his BS title "We Are All Sodomites Now...". I would add, in addition to pernicious, that I found his title, and the attitude that goes along with it, morally repugnant and reprehensible. In this attitude,Sullivan is just like the left-wing gays, and it is truly despicable. I don't think I'll be able to respect him again.

1Cor.6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
I am sure you love quoting the Bible, but I am also sure you are guilty of one or more of the above.

Why should pork be outlawed?!? Gentiles were never forbidden from eating it.
Because it is against you religion. It is hypocritical to outlaw one thing that is forbidden and legalize another thing that is forbidden.

We respectfully disagree with Mr. Sullivan's contentions. The central element of most male homosexual relationships is "cruising." The opposite is stable heterosexual marriage. The latter is the foundation of societies that prosper, the former is the bane of civilizations and always attendant upon their decline.

Andrew Sullivan is generally a bright guy, but I will never, ever, accept that I am the one who has a problem because I don't like the smell of hairy butts.Buy the wife a razor.

Andrew, it was Adam and Eve, NOT Adam and Steve!Weren't they the ones tossed out of the garden for sinning? If only they had taken the time to find a man of the cloth to marry them first.
On another note, where did Cain and Abel find women?

You can have all the freedom you want, but God will judge, and His judgement shall stand. Then these guys shouldn't have been arrested. It was a waste of time and the public's money if God's going to eventually decide.

What you don't understand is that the Ten commandments ARE the TOP TEN NO-NO'S!!Since they were in the Old Testament how can anyone believe that Jews will burn in Hell for not accepting Christ as Savior.

And there are much worse problems that we need to face first, like people constantly violating the Ten Commandment; What should be done about these people?

In every single civilized nation since the beginning of time, homosexuality was considered immoral, a crime against nature, and usually was a capital offense. In which civilized nations was homosexuality a capital offense?

I have never heard of 'sodomy' or 'the crime against nature' as referring to masturbation or any other simply non-procreational sex acts. It refers specifically to anal sex.Oral sex is sodomy.

The 10 Commandments do not all have = weight. When faced with death, one can violate all of them with the exceptions of idolatry, murder, and forbidden sexual relations (including homosexual). On what do you base your statement?

The central element of most male homosexual relationships is "cruising." The opposite is stable heterosexual marriage. The latter is the foundation of societies that prosper, the former is the bane of civilizations and always attendant upon their decline.Correct in part.
"Cruising" is the central element of ALL unregulated sexual behavior, male and female, heterosexual and homosexual.
Heterosexual marriage is a social convention which meets the needs of pregnant women and small children, and it IS the foundation of and stable and healthy society.
But now that we have institutionalized "gay sex" for straights (divorce, remarriage, multiple partners, adultery, getting Lewinskys everywhere you go), it seems a bit mean-spirited to deny it to its pioneers.
Gays and their sex lives aren't doing any more to destroy society than straights are doing by themselves.
