It isn't just homosexuals who have anal sex. There are millions and millions of heterosexual Americans who like it.

Yes, and I think it's gross.

Also, sodomy isn't just "liking smelly butts". It applies to oral sex as well, and probably the vast majority of Americans have indulged in it.

Sullivan was talking about anal sex here, and so am I.

Look, I don't have anything against homos, and in fact I think this law should be overturned. I do think that they should be allowed to do whatever they want.

However, I will not accept that I am the one who has the problem, as this article tries to insinuate. If the homos want to live a life sourrunded by and defined by sick perversion, then that's fine. But don't tell me that my opinion of it is the irrational one.

"This is about homosexuals forcing their perversion on middle America through threats, demonizing, and demoralizing the Church."

No it isn't. This is about people willing to fight to be able to pursue their own adult consensual happiness without Big Government passing discriminatory laws against it.

The whole sex thing is an over blown subject, because it is treated as such. It is a human function just like eating and drinking. In India for example there are people who drink urine for medical reasons? By making urine drinking "legal" do you suppose we all are going to go out and pee in a cup?

If human can chill out and let idiots do their thing, in their home of course, I suspect no one would care.

The only problem is when abnormal behaviors are pushed by activists on the rest of us, in the form of sit-com, or teachers with mission! I don't care if a guy likes to have sex with his dog! But I object to him doing it in his front yard or in the park, or teaching kids that it is an acceptable "life style"!

I would presume there are certain things you would say should not be legal between consenting adults.

For example, not too long ago, there was a man who was killed during rough sex, butchered, then eaten by his 'partner'. The man had consented to being butchered and had, in fact, answered an ad in the personals section outlining exactly what the 'partner' wanted to do.

I would presume that most thinking people would want that kind of activity between 'consenting adults' outlawed. Seems pretty clear that the real issue is where we draw the line on what is to be outlawed.

Will & Grace bothers you? Stations can run whatever they like, so long as it doesn't break FCC regulations. "I object to him doing it in his front yard or in the park, or teaching kids that it is an acceptable "life style"! "

Well laws alredy exist preventing people from having sex in public. As for teaching kids that it is an acceptable lifestyle.. I don't want them teaching kids that it is unacceptable. If kids have sex ed, I'd prefer it were addressed neutrally.

"But they should be Jewish Christians and follow Jewish law."

Strange then that the apostles only instructions to he gentile converts were to avoid sexual immorality and eating meat sacrificed to idols.

Haha.. "stress kills" would be more of an MD thing to say, don't you think?

"funny, so do certain lifestyles."

Right. People who drink, do drugs, eat fast food, etc.

No, he wasn't. That's one of the most pernicious aspects of his article, he went out of his way to try to redefine sodomy as ANY non-procreative sex, whether within marriage or not. Hence his BS title "We Are All Sodomites Now...".

I support the Supreme Court striking down the law. It shouldn't be illegal. But these acts are NOT all equivalent, and in my opinion homosexual sex is almost invariably bad for the people who practice it.

Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes

Such a paragon of morality and courage! (Perhaps the ancestor of the French, n'ce pas?)
