Did you even read it? Like it or not, the Simon loss was NOT the fault of Liberals. It was the fault of our own, through bungling and allowing Rove to dictate who and what would run the Simon campaign.

I thought Bush supported Riordan and was told to butt out by Simon's people. From what I heard, Simon's people didn't listen to Rowe.
Yes, I did read the article.

allowing Rove to dictate who and what would run the Simon campaign. Well, Karl Rove sure did well everywhere else in the country. Could it simply be that Simon ran a weak campaign and that Californication Republicans sat on their a-ses watching Iron Eagle on DVD instead of voting?

As long as Bush and Rove push the open borders nonsense Cali. will go Dem. until such time as the PAN or PRI candidates are the ones being run. This will spread to other states in the Southwest until they will no longer even be a concern of either Dems or Libs. Someone else will be running the show.

It was the fault of our own, through bungling and allowing Rove to dictate who and what would run the Simon campaign. You may have lost because you are arrogant and vengeful.
The reason the Democrats lost in other states was arrogance and vengefulness.
The states that allowed President Bush and Karl Rove to help them now have Republican senators and governors.

I wouldn't pin this loss on Rove.
I actually think that if Simon had shown up at more campaign appearances with his wife at his side he'd have garnered enough votes to beat the Governor-elect. She was a campaign asset who went under-utilized and unnoticed.
