The Marion County prosecutor's office seized dozens of suspicious absentee ballot applications Thursday as it launched a criminal probe into possible election fraud.
"If people are forging signatures on absentee ballots, that's a crime, and it is our job to investigate it," Prosecutor Scott Newman said in a written statement.

This seems to be a problem everywhere. This should be checked state by state.

This stuff has been going on unchallenged for decades. Since Florida in 2000, most states are taking it very seriously this election.

My wife's aunt has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home. We are her guardians, which means her signature is no longer valid. The last time we visited her, there was a kindly woman from the DemocRAT party in her room "helping" her fill out her absentee ballot. When my wife asked the woman what she was doing, she stammered something unintelligible and left the room. We looked at the ballot and all the RATS had been checked. Her aunt has voted straight Republican all her life. We never got her registered to vote in Indiana. Here is an example of ballot box stuffing that nobody seems to know or care about. My wife is so angry she is looking into filing some sort of charges.

That is so sad! These people will stop at nothing to take what is not theirs!! I would let someone know what had happened.
Good Luck to you!

This kind of "anecdotal" evidence does us no good. You need to report this to the authorities (and the party). Nursing home absentee voting is a commonly rumored fraud for Democrats. Let your story make the news.

Why only "thinking" about it? You have to put that b#tch in jail and then maybe they will get the message.

This extends from the nursing home into the cemetery. The state should compare voting rolls with death certificates.

More ballot funny business in yet another state.

You have evidence in hand. I can't imagine why you would not file charges. Call the police today!

I think that it's PAST TIME to replace"Fox in the Chicken-Coop"with"The Rats Are In The Ballot-Box"!!

Nursing homes are federally regulated, and supposed to have both a Rep and Dem representative present on a prescribed voting day. If Dems are slipping into actual nursing homes and getting votes from incompetents, they are in violation of the law as I understand it.
The assisted living complexes are not under such rules, and that is where we have the big problem here in Iowa. We had a local Dem woman here wnt around this year and told everyone not to fill out the back of the ballot, and pushed Dem candidates. However, we will be ready for them next time.
The key here is to get ahold of the activities director of all assisted living complexes and tell them you want equal access and not to allow the Dem representative in unmonitored, and to set a specific day with assigned representatives from both parties, and to ask them if they see any Dem rep trying to help with ballots without permission to call the cops.

Notice the wording in this article. They don't mention which party has the questionable ballots, but they're quick to point out that the County Clerk is Republican. Lacking any other information, the reader is led to believe that the questionable ballots are Republican. Am I wrong?

Republican County Clerk Sarah M. Taylor, a member of the Election Board, welcomed the criminal investigation. Yes, I think you are wrong. This is Dan Quayle's old newspaper. Although the family recently sold it, many of the old guard are still around. The article correctly points out that the Republican County Clerk (BTW, the new mayor is a Dem) is the one who supports the criminal investigation.

Yep that's what we need, more perp-walks for elections crimes. Show their faces, names, and hometowns. Maybe we should just use SSN's for voting, after all the SSN, which was never supposed to be released by the owner of the SSN, can be tracked at the local, then state, then federal level by an extremely simple computer program. All duplications would be thrown out. The biggest job to accomplish this procedure would be to inspect the SS administration to ensure they are purging the rolls, something which has a very low priority right now.

Why can't they report the party affiliation of those ballots? Let's be honest and forthcoming.

I think you should contact the local Republican committee about which venue prosecution should be lodged in to not be ignored and buried. They will probably even figure out how to handle this at no cost to you. Call Today -- this needs to be in the Newspaper on Monday!

Start making the calls now. Seriously. That's ILLEGAL and DESPICABLE behavior. Rat "voting" tactics constitute a large chunk of the reason areas of this Republic are such a stinking mess.
Call. Please.
