Haven't you learned yet, though? They can do whatever they want if they find some end to justify their means. They just keep outdoing themselves - this week New Jersey, next week??????

The jackets (unless they are leather or shiny) would not relfect the flash. However, the liberal wankers face does show the flash.

I know the flash would show more evenly on their jacket. It looks like there is a top right light source but nothing from the flash that shows clearly on the door jam to be bright enough to light up the front of the dweebs, not just from above.

In other words, if this was faked, then it was a very good fake?

I don't think they're fake. Simon's been burned before, so I think they'd have made DARN sure about this BEFORE they went public. If so, then this could be it for Grayout.

If there is what appears at first to be a bad spot on the left side of Davis' head level with his top hairline where his hair meets that bright molding in the backdrop. It might be a halo but it could also be a shadow in the hair from a bounce flash. The effect is consistent on the top left side of the donor's head. There appear to be some strange vertical color shifts from top to bottom across the image, but they are periodic and continuous, indicating if there is a scaning approximation in the CCD that they are the same in the backdrop and the foreground. "Fixing" that into the photo would be an enormous amount of work. Given that a potential "photo doctor" would not be likely to make the same mistake in two places, I am inclined to think the photo is genuine.

I just saw this story on foxnews channel. The RATs are claiming that the photo wasn't taken in Gray's office. They briefly showed one of the photos we're discussing and they had a picture of Gray's office. They were saying it was a different office location.

To me, it looks like they are trying to cover up, because it would be very easy for Gray to say that photo was taken at X location (after all he should know where he received that check) And if he doesn't I'm sure that liberal wanker will remember. But since he can't he needs to try and attack the photo.

But even if it weren't - their old mantra: Deny, Deny, Deny. I have often said that if you had a genuine, proven video of Clinton biting the head off of a baby while dressed in satanic garb, he'd deny it and the sheeples would believe him.

The flash shows on the GLOSSY woodwork. No flash would show on a fabric. No matter, you can't touch them anyway. Take your pick of excuses:

For what I can tell, if even FreeRepublic has a debate about its authenticity, I dont think its a good idea to use as a campaign tool anyways....

I want Davis out as much as anyone (I went to LA in '00 and he was atrocious in my short hotel stay)... But this isnt something I wouldnt bank on.

The easiest way to identify the local is the modern art work on the right-hand wall. This is huge, would not be duplicated in two offices, could not be easily moved, is probably by someone who passes for an artist in California, and probably bears a cost (though not necessarily a value) of more than $6,000.

That artwork alone should identify whether the background is Davis' office in Sacramento, or his campaign office in L.A. (The trees outside the rear window don't look like an L.A. scene, either.)

Experts in photo analysis would have to say whether the pattern of the flash on the men and on the door frames behind Davis to the left of the photo, match or do not match. That aspect is beyond my expertise. But identifying that painting and where it was located in 1998 should be a snap.

Wait - I am confused.

Was Davis in the Governor's office or Lieutenant Governor's office when he allegedly took the check?

Why do you all think I actually think a reflection like shininess? Im talking reflection in light terms... The fabric on their jackets wouldnt be as dark facing the camera...thats all Im saying.

This explains why Simon asked Davis yesterday in the debate if he had accepted any campaign contributions in his office.

Davis blustered and dodged the question.

Let's hope the Republicans use this to full advantage.

You just hit the nail on the head. I was wondering why the office in the photo looked so cheap (especially that painting). Then I took the virtual tour and said, wow there's no way those are the same office. But that still doesn't mean it isn't a gov't office. I'd wonder what the Lt Gov office looks like?
