We need to get together; my husband swears I am trying to find the perfect way to do him in! LMAO! I didn't want to say so earlier, but I have told Mrs. CD that if I was ever killed she would be the main suspect.
You see, she's been studying "techniques" for quite a while! 8^)
As to this story, did I hear on the news that all these guys have been to Afghanistan?
Yes, I think I also heard that, but not sure.
To: SauronOfMordor
"A few SF guys coming back from Afghan and discovering what their wives have been up to while they were gone?"
That would be my quess.

How many suicides shoot themselves twice? Chest and head?
I may not be impossible but I doubt it happens a lot.
To: Savage Beast
You've a point.

good point
but there are only 3 choices, suicide, wife did it
or outsider
I dont think outsider did it
I dont think wife did it
so even tho suicide seems impossible, I'm going with that one

Joan Shannon told police she woke to the sound of two gun shots and saw an intruder leaving the home. I wonder if the intruder was a woman wearing a floppy hat and chanting "Kill the Pigs".
Anybody remember Jeffrey MacDonald (the case that the book and miniseries "Fatal Vision" was based on)? I believe he was a Green Beret stationed at Fort Bragg, back in the early seventies (or maybe late sixties).
To: Wu
hi Wu
I never thought of professional
you have good mind
I still think it is suicide tho, but don't know how he did it
he may have wanted his wife and family to get life insurance
so found way for appearance to suggest other

If that were the case, they'd leave a calling card to publicize their success. The terrorist's whole purpose is defeated if he or she acts covertly.
To: TrappedInLiberalHell
Oh, yes I remember that case. Well, I don't really "remember" it, since I was just a tot back in 1970, but I read "Fatal Vision". Jeffrey McDonald reminds me a lot of OJ Simpson, as far as personalities go.

Thank you for posting this.
It will be interesting to find out the whodunnit here.
I hope they find the murderer soon.
To: MeeknMing
Thanks Meek.
Something doesn't seem quite right about this.
I'll ping you when I find out more.

i don't know where to look on that site for whatever you saw.
when the soviet union existed they learned how to get individuals to murder people on command. When testing the subjects to see how effective they were they would bring the subject's best friend in and sit them together. Then they would tell the subject to kill his friend, then he would pick up a gun on the table and kill him.
Wasn't it Fort Bragg a few years ago that had the suspicious deaths of soldiers during training exercises?

Looks like a small epidemic of bulletitis. There are a lot of possibilities here, but without more info, we're all shooting in the dark.
More info on the men's military assignments might be helpful, if anyone can find anything.
