This isn't government-mandated. How can you have a problem with this? Don't private property owners have a right to dispense with their property as they wish?

This is more or less an inside joke about ALA. Why do they have THEIR noses in this?

I'm old enough to remember when coffee houses were either bookie joints or folk music hangouts, smoke-filled in either case.
Imagine your local smoke-free bookmaker. What a hoot!

Imagine your local smoke-free bookmaker. What a hoot! It's very suspicious when the ALA is involved in anything concerning smoking. Wouldn't you love to be in that photo shoot? LOL!

And, those of us who like to drink coffee in a smoke-free environment might go out of our way to visit such an establishment.
As somebody said before me - "Having a smoking section in a restaurant is like having a pissing section in a swimming pool."

As somebody said before me - "Having a smoking section in a restaurant is like having a pissing section in a swimming pool."And like we have said before, if it's your pool, have all the p-contests you want.

What a vicious, nasty, vile thing to say.
Firmly in the camp of the anti-smokers, aren't you???
I always thought conservatives were self thinkers and willing to question everything propagandized by the left. I guess Iw as wrong. Even self-declared conservatives can be sheeple.

When you own the restaurant or the pool - then you have the right to make those decisions.
