I guess democrats would be too stupid to understand about economic terms like "inferior good"

They will tax the poor until they scream.

The "veggie" burger is nearly all carbohydrates. That is the road to type 2 diabetes and morbid obesity. The reason for all the obesity today is "low fat" foods that a primarily carbohydrates. The lack of exercise induced by sitting in front of the TV or computer monitor also contributes to the problem.

Drugs used to be legal. Even really bad drugs. Crack still exists, and there is no reason to thinks laws have anything to do with why the "crack epidemic" is no longer in the news. There are many worse and more dangerous things than doing drugs that are perfectly legal. The point is that middle ground may be more toward the libertarian end of the spectrum than you have been conditions by Drug War propaganda to think.

Face it, more people can find something wrong with crack cocaine than with aspirin, and more people can find something wrong with tobacco than with cheeseburgers.

Every person can find something wrong with government.

As absurd as the fatty-food tax is. An even more absurd, seemingly surreal, though very real problem overshadows it. It is the fact that many fats are beneficial to the human body while carbohydrates and especially complex carbohydrates like sugar and fructose reek havoc on the metabolism over the long term and are the real food culprits that lead to obesity.

What if It's All Been a Big Fat Lie

Caffeine-alcohol-sugar free diet; low carbohydrate intake; high protein intake (read meat, milk, cheese, eggs and most dairy products some whole grains and vegetable fibers), gallon of water evenly spaced over the day; aerobic fitness of at least twenty minutes each day.

Deconstructed absurd and seemingly surreal, albeit very real problems that leech off Americans and their well being and prosperity. Predominantly, how and why politics is the problem, not the solution -- and what to do about it...

Oh well. At least it's cheaper. Might as well throw in a supersize fries.

We knew it would happen. We smokers tried to tell America that the demonization of smokers was only the first step. The left intends to rule every aspect of our lives, and with the help of the media and liberal law makers and judges they will succeed.

They are wrong about fatty foods,BTW. Quite the opposite is true. The low fat craze is what has caused Americans to become more obese. What people fail to comprehend, and frankly weren't told is that low fat does not mean no calories.

So called demon fatty foods are the "real foods" that were put on this earth for us to eat. They are necessary for cell renewal and life itself.

This no fat craze of the left is more evil than some think! But I have no illusions that they will fail. We will pay dearly for our McDonald's fries real soon.

Which will further contribute to "Global Warming". What will the bean-sprout eating lefties do then?

You might want to re-think that one.

Thanks. Correction: complex concentrated carbohydrates. That done, I have researched and thought about it and tested my diet to my satisfaction. If the correction hasn't changed your suggestion, rather than mere suggesting that I might want to "re-think that one" perhaps you could explain why you suggest I do.

That's much better. Not taking issue with the advice, just the part about sugars being complex carbohydrates. IIRC, those terms are mutually exclusive. I screw up occasionally too, so feel free to keep me honest if you catch me doing it.
