Oh sure! Balance the city's budget on the backs of the smokers!
Sure, it only hurts 1 out of 4 of your constituents, Mayor RINO BLOOMBERG!

Great now the blackmarket cigarette running that terrorists have been doing in the South can now be done in NYC. Thank you Mayor Bloomberg! Your financing Al Qaeda! I can't believe my only choice was to vote for this idiot.
I guess I will use Indian Reservations to buy cigarettes now. This is really going to hurt the Bodega owners.

Who makes more money off of cigarettes now: Philip Morris, or the City of New York?

If you live in NYC and you're a smoker, you'd be crazy not to buy your cancer sticks

And when you are comfortab;e with ordering cigaretttes from afar, order them from here: www.yessmoke.com
Bloomberg is a foolish, RINO socialist.

"This may be the most important measure my administration takes to save people's lives" Un-effing-believable! In Iowa, $3.50-$4.00 per pack was enough to make me quit...(paying taxes, that is.)

Smokers pay more taxes than any other segment of society. It's a disgrace!

This is a nightmare -- I blithely thought that this law wouldn't affect me, as I could always buy my cigarettes in New Jersey, but the Garden State just raised their state tax 80 cents, to make it $1.50 a pack!

The city initially expected the tax increase to generate $250 million a year. Even if this was accurate, the money doesn't just magically appear, it gets sucked out of other sectors of the economy since those who spend the extra bucks on smokes have less to spend on other things.
