Davis has a new AD up that I just saw for the first time today.
Have not had a chance to see it enough to know how it ties in with this!

The media hatchet job begins. I suppose this equals Davis taking six billion dollar surplus and turning it into a $23.6 billion (larger by other accounts) deficit. Simon didn't do anything wrong that we know of. Davis may have. It'll be interesting to watch the media try like hell to level the playing field. They've quite quite a job before them with this failed idiot that's governor now.

While officials with his firm said they've had more successes than failures and have made large profits for investors, an Associated Press review found the company's record also includes bankruptcies, layoffs and substantial financial losses.

All apart of conducting business in the private sector.

Let's step back and look at the big picture, shall we.

Bill Simon - The usual profits and losses, and yet, remains in business and making "large profits."
Gray Davis - Well, in one word...bankrupt. Okay, I'll make it two...bankrupt and corrupt.

Sorry ERICA WERNER and MICHAEL LIEDTKE, my vote is going to the guy whose had more successes than failures.

If the headline had read "Desperate Davis, Unleashes His Media Attack Dogs on Simon" it would have been more accurate.

Davis keeps making the same mistakes over and over as governor, proving he has not learned from them.

Simon has had his own failures....but has he learned from them?? THAT'S the question.

Remember, AP reporters are the fellow-travellers, the rent-a-flack, of the Democrat Party.

...And when you're a Democrat, you hire the press to mistirect the public's attention from the fact that you caused the ship to sink iin the first place.

So. Davis has the same resume of failure. Only his is statewide and affects taxpayers. Dump Davis.

This is pitiful. Not one comment by a SINGLE fellow businessman or investor to agree that there is ANYTHING shady about Simon's record. There is only this:

Experts in corporate governing agree Simon isn't directly responsible for the performance of his firm's investments. His role is greater if he sits on a company's board, said Nell Minow, editor of The Corporate Library, a Web site that follows corporate governance.

Experts in corporate governing my fanny. Experts in corporate governing govern corporations! This web site looks legit but I'd certainly never heard of them. How about a single other critical quote???
