FIRST STRIKE: After five days of "positive" ads, Gov. Gray Davis unleashed the first in what will likely be a series of attack ads on Republican opponent Bill Simon -- and with good reason.
There's a new poll floating around Sacramento that shows the embattled Davis trailing Simon by a whopping eight points.

Laura Bush is here today in San Francisco. GW was already out here once for Simon and they raised $4.5 million at 3 appearances in one day. Yes, he'll be back a couple more times.
GO SIMON!
Muhwahaha. How delicious.
So GO And
I love it!
GO Camejo GO!
We could put these up all over. I will put them on my garbage toters. We have some real enviral nazi tree huggers for Davis up the road. They will probably have a cerebral misfire if they drive down the road and see that on my garbage toters every Wednesday morning and of course on Tuesday evening as they do up the hill.
If we could swing away 3 to 5 % of the enviral vote to the Green candidate, that would be like fishbone in Davis's throat being pulled out by the Greens!
Exactly my thoughts.
We have enviral whackos outside of Walmart, Home Depot, Target and other stores all the time with petitions trying to drive out people to make room for critters. Maybe they will be glad to distribute for free some of these:
Don't you just love Free Republic.
See some of my other replies to your great bumper sticker. Every one % of Davis's votes that we siphon over to the Green Weenie will have an incredible impact.
Isn't Free Republic great! We do these things on our own as Americans!
This is what makes NIMC's sticker so great:
To a lesser extent, Libertarian candidate Gary Copeland may also grab some anti-Davis voters. Copeland has not been shy about publicizing his Druid religion, and focussing on issues (such as the Drug War) that will likely resonate more with liberals than conservatives. Copeland and Camejo have been jointly participating in a series of debates around the state to drum up publicity, and the increased visibility for both of them could cost Davis several critical percentage points in the November balloting.
This is really very interesting a Druid/Anti Drug War Libertarian and a Green could both take away votes from Davis.
Keep us posted in this. Again, what we learn on Free Republic in just a few minutes.
There were a whopping eight references, all of which were "in passing".
I think they know they have a loser on their hands ...

Everyone in the Republican Party was putting all their cards on the table with Riordan. But Riordan is a lib in disguise, and that failed miserably. But Simon has a lot of skeletons in his closet. I don't mean the things that Davis is bringing up.. but I think you WILL see Simon answering a lot of awkward questions, and I think (with all due respect) supporters like you will feel uncomfortable with some of his answers. LOOK/LISTEN to see if he REALLY answers the questions.. or if he spins,K?
Bill Jones has a wonderful track record. Both in how he votes, and the issues he has backed. I personally liked his three strikes law. Some are complaining "Well, now we have people in jail who only committed LITTLE crimes".. to them I say.. I NEVER COMMITTED ANY CRIMES!!! Small .. large.. so what? If your a repetitive offender.. you make your bed, you sleep in it!! I still think it will deter crime.. as long as it is KEPT intact!! But there are moves.. (the poor criminal) to reverse it already!!
Anyway.. Jones, when looked at closer.. is a great candidate. And when it comes down to the wire.. I think he will have proved to be the better candidate!! Just my own opinion.. and I respect yours. I'm sure we will end up voting for Simon.. but I have to tell ya.. he wasn't the best man for the job.. he is just the better alternative at this point. I PRAY seriously he PROVES ME WRONG!!!
I'm more than happy to be wrong!!
FRegards!!
Ye Gads!!! This is what happens when I type to fast.. that should have said "proven to be". As in PAST tense!!
Waiting for the word cops!! They are out there just waiting for the chance to jump on an innocent grammatical error.. yikes!!
