Longtime watchers of Houston TV want to know, are you DR. REDleg DUKE, with the funky mustache?
To: Tuor
the Bush administration allowed this report to be releasedWho commission the report ? my guess is it was congress.
To: Registered
who is responsible for this report, Bush, a rogue, WhitmanCareer scientists. Do you think Whitman went to these guys last week and told them to have something on her desk by yesterday?
To: txculprit
Yes, but tomatoes are a fruit, not a vegetable (technically).
To: concerned about politics
RUSH has been steady with his message for years. He's never lied. He's still Rush. He sticks to his core values, whether the BushBots like it or not. That's an honorable trait. Well the fact that Rushbots fell in line with him yesterday before they read the report, even if they did read it, shows that Rush has you blindly tied around his finger as you say the Bushbots are to Dubya. And if jumping the gun is an honorable trait, then I'll take the dishonorable waiting for the facts anyday.

No, let's get it straight:
A Log Cabin Republican is a fruit.
The average democRAT voter is a vegetable.

You guys can laugh in hysterical relief all you want, but I judge people by their actions, not their words: the Bush administration allowed this report to be released. That is an act that cannot be taken back, and one which will haunt us years later.yep. Get ready to cave before 2004. Better start saving up for that Yugo, folks!

Anything else you'd like to president to say today?

Oh, okay, so they just release the report right? Hehehe.
To: Fred Mertz
Um yes, Howlin was posting the link to the report and telling everyone to read the report--that it was mischaracterized by the NYT.
Now Bush has backed away from the report. I'm now glad to read shes on mine and Bush's side.
To: Howlin
The operative words are "so called right wing".
To: rintense;howlin
This is all too hilarious. Now let's see, what will be Sean's and Rush's hissy fit of the day?
To: VRWC_minion
"Who commission the report ? my guess is it was congress."
That's my guess... And it was a statutory requirement met by the Clinton administration...
To: rintense
You are making an assumption about Rush without listening to him, isn't that the same as not reading the report and making a conclusion about it?
To: B Knotts
Truman: The buck stops here
Clinton: The buck never got here
Who does Bush 2 sound more like today?
To: OldFriend
Agreed. There is way too much vitriol around here lately.
It seems to me that after eight years of dealing with the devil, many people here need to release their anger at him, while others seem to over-deify Bush.
IMHO the president is a good man who has made some moves I'm not crazy about ( I never agreed with everything my father said or did either), but I do believe that given two terms, the country will be infinitely better off as a result of his service to it.

There was a post somewhere on one of these threads that stated that Whitman tried to delay the report but couldn't...

This report has been done for years.
