BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In the Unresolved Problems segment tonight, last week we told you about the city of Providence, Rhode Island, ordering some firefighters to march in a gay pride parade. Some of those firefighters objected on moral grounds and are threatening to sue the city. And they're being backed up by the ACLU.

I saw this interview and was disgusted by the story. That Cianci guy was a total JERK!!! He was probably one of the biggest creeps and the most poorly behaved guest I've ever seen on that show.
I'm so glad to see you post this. Dad gum that guy was a jerk. What a loser!

Cianci would allow himself to be sodomized on national TV for three votes or is that two.

O'REILLY: Yes -- well, look, you're forcing people to do what you want them to do, and you're violating their rights.I really don't know who's worse, in a way, O'Reilly or the mayor. Last night, he argued with a Republican member of the State Legislature, regarding the fight to overturn the law prohibiting gays from adopting. O'Reilly's argument? That children in foster homes would be better off being raised by gay parents then remaining in foster homes, regardless of statistics indicating that "gay marriages" are less stable then heterosexual ones, due mainly to a high early death rate from Aids. (Not to mention indoctrination into an abherrant lifestyle.)
In his inimitable ignorance, O'Really's response was that these (in foster homes) are kids of heterosexual marriages, and look what happened to them. Duh, O'Really, they can't very well be kids from homosexual marriages, since it's not legal in Florida!
When is O'Really going to learn that the lesser of two evils is still evil? I guess when his ratings tank.

On his email segment the next night he said he didn't get EVEN ONE email in support of the mayor.

I'm curious whether the mayor is alledged to be "mobbed up". Last I heard, Providence is known for its excellent restaurants and for its remaining mobsters.
To: vannrox
Well, it makes a difference between marching, and it's a difference, and it's... More Democrat double-speak.

Ah yes, Mayor Cianci. The same Mayor Cianci that was indicted by a grand jury, tried and convicted of felony kidnapping and torture. His wife had been messing around, so him and some pals took the boyfriend for a ride to a warehouse where he was tied to a chair and tortured with lit cigarettes.
After Cianci somehow got out of prison, the good people of Providence elected him mayor again...
Perhaps Cianci should have marched with his boyfriend Bubba..
To: vannrox
That's real shame about the mayor, because Providence is a pretty town. But then, Brown has a beautiful campus, and look at what a bunch of moronic liberals they have there.
The firemen should have just refused to be in the parade.

A great picture to post. Notice the word "Castro" on the awning - A reference to Castro Street in San Francisco ? Providence is run by the gay community which wields its power in every arena it can.

The Castro in the picture is of the Castro Cafe in Providence which is owned by two women, one of whom Cianci recently appointed as a Gay Liason (an Official City Position/appontment).
Here's a
LINK to a story about this appointment.
Here's part of the article:
PROVIDENCE -- Mayor Vincent A. Cianci Jr. announced yesterday the appointment of two new liaisons to the gay and lesbian community, replacing W. Fitzgerald Himmelsbach, who resigned following reports that four men may have contracted syphilis at a gay club he runs.
Cianci has tapped two people for the part-time liaison position, a job held for the past four years by one official.
Alexis M. Gorriaran, co-chairman of the Rhode Island Pride Committee, and Lorianne Green, the co-owner of the Castro Cafe on the East Side, are City Hall's new link to the issues affecting gay and lesbian residents, such as hate crimes and discrimination issues.
