CNN MEMO WARNS STAFF ON REPORTING JESSE JACKSON SCANDAL BOOK
**Exclusive**
A CNN internal memo warns staffers to hold off reporting on a new book which presents a damning portrait of former CNN host and civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson.
The CNN memo obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT, penned from the network's Chicago bureau, points out how the author of SHAKEDOWN: THE LIFE OF THE REVEREND JESSE JACKSON -- may not be trustworthy!
"Kenneth Timmerman is a long time writer and investigator touting conservative causes," the CNN memo notes.
"He is recently a failed political candidate [ran for US Senate in Maryland] whose own bio points out he studied creative writing at Brown."
SHAKEDOWN hits stores this week; it quickly raced to the top of the AMAZON hit sales parade.
REGNERY PUBLISHING set a first run of 150,000 copies, a record for the house.
If these are the types of things circling around CNN news desks, we don't have to wonder why CNN cannot be trustworthy or fair about reporting anything. Period!
This is no lightweight book targetting a conservative crowd who might buy anything that attacks Jesse Jackson. It's a big, thick book.
Wow, and he's still a conservative. Must've been lonely up there in Providence.
I actually broke one of my rules last night and turned on to watch "Crossfire" because Timmerman was on the second half of the show. Don't know if anyone else here saw it. Is it just me, or does that weenie Bill Press tend to come across as a member of the Gestapo (minus the leather trench coat) trying to badger a confession out of someone? You should have seen the look of pure hatred on his face and heard it in his voice, cracking off little chestnuts like "You're a right wing extremist and this book is just a political hatchet piece! I want you to admit it, right now!" Timmerman handled this Nazi well.
In other words, Mr. Timmerman's book is fiction and fantasy dreamed up in the author's creative mind. Therefore, any potential purchaser of the book is led to believe the book is nothing more than a fiction novel, and should be given the same weight.

Ouote that CNN !
But there were abolitionist papers throughout the north which survived for years and drove the Slaveocrats mad with hatred. In the South it was routine to steal them from the Federal mails. Southern papers were not premitted by law to write about the revolution of the slaves in Santo Domingo for fear it would give the Slaveocracy's victims ideas. Even books and magazines with subversive ideas were banned and not allowed to circulate within the South.

It sure was for me. I was down the hill from Brown, at RISD. I was one of maybe three RISD students who voted for Reagan in 1980.
It did make for an extremely satisfying evening of election returns. The wailing, the gnashing of teeth...I could barely contain my glee.
Pray for GW and the Truth
Bob Woodward is a long time writer and investigator touting liberal causes. Woodward is also a frequent guest and commentator on CNN. Bias?
If Jesse wasn't a liberal minority, he'd be facing RICO charges. RICO is applied to numerous rackets beyond the traditional "mafia." If it was Clarence Thomas, the indictments would have been handed down decades ago.
Even Don King, who is legendary for this type of shenanigans, doesn't get the same pass from law enforcement that Jesse does.
I come from a farm background. My Dad and both of my brothers are Republicans and would never, ever vote for a stupid demonRAT!!
