NO!

Well, I sat and read through the article that was originally posted, and it's addressed in there as untrue as well.
I don't care for Jane at all. But we have to be careful that what we say about her is true and proveable, otherwise, folks can (and will) begin to believe that none of it was true at all.

You did all that one can. Deny the story when you see it. But it's like sweeping back the tide.

Have you read "Bias" by Bernard Goldberg? I just finished it. Jane has the same mentality as Dan, Peter and Tom.

Thanks for the heads up Snow Bunny. I would ask why she is walking around free but the famous don't suffer for their action in the political world. Should anyone ever have the displeasure of being within ten feet of her, she will feel their spit on her face.

Lessee now, we have the Marin traitor Lindh in jail for joining the rag heads in Afganistan, wielding an AK 47 in the presence of US troops, being present when an American was killed by Bin Laden's supporters and brought back for trial. Will he go free? He's a lib and has been "brain-washed" according to his parents. Get an OJ jury and he skates.
Compare that situation to that of another traitor named Jane Fonda (Hanoi Jane) who is not in jail, who wielded an anti-aircraft weapon for PR purposes, was present when Americans were being beaten and some of whom later died in POW prison. This traitorous wench remains a leftist hater of all things American. Why is she still free? Will she ever be sent to jail. Answer: NO! She is female, she is a celebrity and hence she is immune from prosecution. What a sad commentary on American justice. Then, of course, and by way of another miserable example, we have the Klintoons whose freedom from incarceration has just been confirmed once more by the Special Prosecutor.
I propose we call all the "special" leftists the New Untouchables.

Thanks, Snow Bunny, for the ping. I would have hated to have missed this thread . . .
Thanks, GummyIII, for posting this information . . .
Special thanks to all the soldiers who have risked their lives to preserve our freedoms, including those freedoms currently enjoyed by Hanoi Jane. The full measure of your commitment and sacrifice is not lost on us . . .

Disgusting. I was too young to know exactly what went on with her back then, but I got enough from my dad to know. He despised her and hated everything she stood for and did to cause grief to our vets.

I wonder why no one ever sued jane in civil court for pain and suffering she caused by her actions?
At the very least everything would have come out in the proceedings, and the publicity would make everyone aware of what she did.
In addition, the civil case would have made it more difficult for her to not be charged with treason since it would all be laid out in detail for everyone to see, IMO.

They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his SSN on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper. She took them all without missing a beat. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him the little pile of papers. Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Col. Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know about her actions that day.
First off, let me say that I am in no way defending this BI*CH, but this part of the story is untrue.
My father was a Navy Fighter Pilot (he flew A4 Skyhawks off of a Carrier (can't remember which one)), and is a friend of Col. Larry Carrigan. I forwarded this to my father about 3 or 4 years ago (Yes this has been around that long), and he wrote me back that this part never happened.
While I don't know the particulars as to what really happened, Jane did not turn over anyones notes, and nobody died from that.
But I still think she needs to be shot.

This Trash will never be rehabed in my mind. At worst she deserves to be shot. At best she belongs in France with those who were more than happy to facilitate the communist propaganda. Nixon's biggest mistake was in allowing her back into the country. He should have given her a choice, renounce your citizenship and leave, or face prosecution for being a traitor. Here attempts to destroy what little hope the POWs had, will forever be emblazened in my mind. What a disgusting sub-species this individual and Tom Haden are.

I would not be at all surprised to find out that Bill Clinton also made his way to Hanoi.

I just came back to this thread and read this comment!!! YOu get free dinners anytime we ever meet!! In fact, I am going to mail you money so you and FallGuy can eat on me!! Thank you for telling that scumwafflette off!!!!!
To: DoughtyOne
I would not be at all surprised to find out that Bill Clinton also made his way to Hanoi. One of his ambitions. He went later, had a fun time, and safer too.
Hanoi was on good terms with former U.S. President Clinton, who visited Vietnam last year (4/6/01)

Thanks Joe, I think Hanoi should get freeped everytime she is on a talk show, a radio show....does anything. Never let her have peace and quiet in anything she does.
Thanks again for all you do.
To: dansangel
GREAT post . Yes people do have a short memory when it comes to unpleasant things especially. Then add in the power of the left to keep things hidden and not discussed. Thanks so much for your post!!!
To: SJackson
Hanoi Janes so called 'apology' came many years later and meant nothing .
To: BeforeISleep
I agree with you, never ever forget. Thanks so much .
