MSNBC: Ari Fleischer To Blast Clinton Administration At 12:30
MSNBC | 2-28-02 | My Favorite Headache

Posted on 02/28/2002 7:30:09 AM PST by My Favorite Headache

Just heard a news break from Rick Sanchez saying the Bush administration is going to hold the Clinton administration responsible for pressing peace talks in a volatile situation that they knew would result in more violence against Israel beginning in 2000....more to follow during briefing. But apparently Ari is going to have something big to say on this and where the U.S. is going to go with the situation in Israel and the war on terrorism.

MSNBC: Ari Fleischer To Announce Arrest of Clinton Administration for Treason At 12:30

Exactly! I’m dreaming right along with you.

Ari - Until that time don't wake me with a bunch of noisy words that do nothing. It's no better than the Rat's condemnation of Çliñt¤ñ's actions who then voted to acquit.

Talk is cheap. Until you have an indictment, don't bother me.

Don't know about other's yet but poor Ari really did nothing I could see that could harm Clinton or Daschle very much.

I was just listening to MSNBC and the reporter said that Ari had said off camera that when Clinton had the peace conference between Barak and Arafat in the fall of 2000 Clinton was shooting for the moon and all the troubles have come from that. The reporter said you never criticize a former president.

NY Jews vote Dimocrat because their fathers and their fathers' fathers did, and because the Dims are the party of big government, and they've done this since long before anyone ever heard of "the religious right"

Many groups voted Democrat because they were born into it. But nearly all of them, Catholics for instance, split off by the third generation. There is a reason why Jews have not. And while animosity toward those in the GOP who try to convert others is not the only reason, it is a factor. You even see it in the GOP. It was no accident that prominent neocons such as Podhoretz, Saffire, Kristol and Jonah Goldberg were delighted with McCain's comments about evangelicals during the primaries. Everyone of them wrote an article praising McCain for saying what I suspect they've wanted said for years.

I was disappointed too....that's what I get for paying attention to hype from CNN. What the network wienie boys in the White House press pool intended, was an all out "Let's Get Ari". They pounded him on what he said at the daily gaggle. It was intense questioning, especially from John King and NBC's David Stretch whazzisname.

Ari did not back down from his what he said earlier to the reporters, without cameras rolling, which in essence was: Clinton shot his Middle East peace wad on his last minute legacy attempt, and ended up with blanks when the real bullets over there started flying. Good for Ari!

They really put him through his paces though, they surely wanted Ari to attack Clinton in a press conference, with cameras rolling. No such luck, but the point was made: The escalation of violence between Palestine and Israel did NOT start after Bush took office, it started after Clinton's failed summit. Take that, Tom Daschle!!

I may be wrong, but I don't think Ari's tough pronouncements about Clinton was accidental. I think it was a quick strike aimed directly at Tom Daschle, who just today signaled the democrats are going to now openly criticize Bush's war effort.

How about because they tend to be social activists and believe in change in this life, not in some afterlife. There tends to be more focus on this lifetime, not some after life.

True enough but it doesn't explain why socialism rather than free market ideas didn't grab hold

It did in the first wave of Jewish immigration. The German Jews in Cincinnati today retain a free market outlook and vote majority Republican. The second wave, from middle Europe and Russia were majority left the day they set foot in America.

The reporter said you never criticize a former president.

They certainly criticize former President Bush for not getting Husseim (sp) when he had the chance, and Nixon. I guess the rule is, you never criticize a RAT former president.

Hey Dog, If Ari (or President Bush) would like to get a reaction that would be heard around the world, he needs to look into the camera, at us, and answer the questions honestly and completely without all of the political jibberish, backpaddling and waffling.

The people are with President Bush in droves, if he wants to keep them there he needs to at least show Daschle and Clinton they cannot continue slinging thier horse sh*t without getting some on themselves, I would have more respect for him if he would at least take a small swipe at these two himself.

Don't know about other's but I am just a little tired of going to bat for anyone that won't at least swing the darn thing themselves once in awhile.

Yes that is the media's rule.

Talk about Nixon, MSNBC was just telling that all the Nixon tapes are now available, and they played a portion where Nixon said all the media were Jews. Someone asked if that made them bad. Nixon said No, but that makes them all left wing.
You can bet we will be hearing about this all day and about Ari Fletchers off camera comment.

Good observation about Sen. "don't lie to me" Daschle.

BTW Ari said it was SEPTEMBER 29th 2000 when the violence started and has continued since.

Yeah, your right, you dont criticize a Former President, but it's a-ok for a Former President to slam-dunk a sitting President, go figure.

I don't agree but maybe thats just me, I'd have more respect for President Bush if he did slam Clinton and Daschle just once, and I don't believe it would harm his ratings an "Iota" in fact I believe they would go through the roof.

I feel in my heart that the American People would be dancing in the streets and "be damn" with Political Correctness just this once. Clinton and Daschle would not know what hit them, the cowards.

Of course, they would have went after him like sharks even if he had criticized the previous non-administration, so it's a lose-lose situation.

True. And I agree, some of Ari's answers were a bit disappointing.

Now have Ari tell about the Enron,Clinton connection. Wish the Gop would fight back, about time!

Me too! I am just starting to get more than irritated. Those reporters know what clinton and his ilk did in their attempts to selfishly lock down a legacy for clinton by FORCING disagreeing parties to falsely almost agree. IT WAS A FARCE. And everyone KNOWS IT WAS A FARCE.

I wish Ari could straight talk...but unlike some, he cannot. He is part of the 'tone change' charge. That is not all bad. What he said was correct.....clintonistas just HATE TO HEAR THE TRUTH. HATE IT! Helen was there comparing our war on terror to Vietnam....don't you just want to sit that old hag down and force a few facts down her gullet? Of course, she is so chock full of love for billy clinton, facts could NEVER stick to her. Ever.

I think it is time for someone at the WH to let a FEW PHOTOS of the damage the clinton trailer trash did to OUR White House when they had to leave their precious power seats. Perhaps it is time for a little more fire to be let out of the oven.

Mom - you hit the nail on the head!! I've wondered this past couple of days just why I spend so much time at the computer sending emails, faxes and calling D.C. about CFR, Pickering, DNC lies, etc., etc. when NOBODY in the RNC or Administration will stand up and defend themselves with any fight. Yesterday I was so disgusted I emailed Bush that he was losing his loyal base by not supporting his nominee Pickering and with the report that he would sign CFR. I don't even know if our emails are read!!!!

The guy you're describing is one of those for whom the term "Klinton Kool-Aid Drinker" was invented on FR.

I'm talking about people like my best friend from college, who was raised in a wealthy, comfortable lifestyle and works for a Fortune 500 company, married with two kids and just my best buddy in the world, a sweetheart of a guy.

But I think his arm would blacken and fall off if he ever ATTEMPTED to vote for a conservative no matter of what party.

It's just the weirdest thing. I ask him "Dean, how can you, one of the smartest guys I know, still support Clinton after all we know."

His answer: "Democrats are always for helping those who can't help themselves, and I'm a Democrat."

It's just astonishing to me.
