FOOLS FOR EVIL

February 27, 2002 -- NOW, in our time of crisis, helpfully comes former President Jimmy Carter to pronounce that the current president - this would be the president who actually has the job at the moment, as opposed to the president who set a record for incompetence that will stand until the seas run dry when he did have the job, and has been tediously nattering away at his infinitely superior successors ever since - has erred.

Yo Carter, shut up you fool, you show the world your ignorance. The old saying goes double for you, "it is better to be quiet and be thought a fool, then speak out and remove all doubt" and you just continue to remove all doubt!!

Carter, is, was and always be a fool. The article was well positioned and gave perspective. At least it was not written by a Brit that would take at least 30 minutes to read. (No offense intended, MadIvan, Sir. You are still invited as a guest in our home in the USA).

Do-nothingism - Carterism

Excellent label for carters non-policies!

President Reagan called the USSR the evil empire and it was. President Bush calls I and I and NK an axis of evil and it is. IINK will follow the same path as USSR did.

Note to Mark Lilla. We don't care if the iraqi's, iranians, north koreans hate us more now than before. We're going to eradicate those elements anyway so their opinion (and yours) just don't count.

God Save America (Please)

My totally apolitical husband came home a couple days ago with the news that the peanut farmer had been running his mouth again.

After a mini-tirade about what a boob he was as president, I informed my husband that, though I may have to share Heaven with jimmuh, I'm sure my "mansion over the hilltop" will be waaaay far away from his!

I do loathe the man.

Be nice now, the Lord asks us to take care of children and mentally deficient. After his administration, I can't believe anyone would even print a story about his opinions.

A Carter Story

I think this was at the 1977 World Series when the Pittsburgh Pirates won. During the post game wrap up in a large locker room, Jimmy Carter went down to congratulate the teams. The announcer listened. Then he walked over to the Pirates on the left side of the room, speaking with them at length. When done with them he walked directly over to the other team on the right side of the room, speaking with them at length. Now Jimmy Carter was still standing in the center of the room being ignored by everyone. The announcer walked right past him, paying him not the slightest mind. Then, when done talking with the other team at length, the announcer went back to talk to the Pirates, again walking straight past and completely ignoring the President of the United States who was just standing there in the middle of the room trying to look important.

This was an incredibly telling situation. This was before cable and at the final game of the World Series so the entire country saw that their president, a man who is supposed to be the most important man in whatever room he is in, was a man who could be marginalized with very little difficulty. That their president was a helpless man with the presence of a potted plant who had no idea how to ACT important, how to take charge of a situation, how to think on his feet. Carter helplessly let the director of NBC sports (who could have mercifully cut to a commercial if he had wanted to) make him look like the rear end of a horse in front of the entire country because he couldn't speak up and take charge.

Funny how I never see or read anyont else talk about this event, because it was quite telling.
