That was MY first reaction. In every other picture we've seen of him, he is in a supplicant or subjugated posture. If he is 'interviewing' someone, he would be in more of an 'in command' attitude. Maybe someone is playing with video just to scare the US and journalists, I don't know. But if they in fact DID murder Pearl, they better hope they are NEVER found by anyone connected with the US. And who knows, maybe other journalists will take off their rose colored glasses when it comes to what many had begun calling 'freedom fighters' and begin seeing them for the barbarians they truly are!

I agree with that statement completely...And Islam should not be treated as a viable religion... Pearl's death would have been quick and any pain would have ended quickly as well...The shock value for those of us learning about Pearl's Islamic murder, although shocking, does not create the intended effect... I assume the intended effect was to have all of us fear the bad muslims...No fear here...Just rage...

And since Islam is no more than a murderous cult, and since I am against nuclear war if at all possible, I can envision hundreds of napalm bombs being dropped on Islam mosques all over the middle and far east...

Perhaps the reason the media, as well as George Bush keep coddling or fondling the muslims in the U.S. is a fear that Americans will give these American(?) muslins an up close and personal message to take back to their homelands when they leave this country, voluntarily or not...

From the description of this video, it sounds as if Pearl has been dead from the get go. He never was "abducted".
Why would he be sitting interviewing someone if he was being held captive?
It's more than likely that he was lured with false info into the trap and led to the "interview" and bushwhacked.
