I'm getting sick and tired of the term 'inappropriate'. Since when is bringing up topics of debate inappropriate? I guess it is when some weak minded individuals can't think up common sense ways of countering said ideas....simply because there is not any common sense reason why immigrant, non-citizen influence in our government should not be limited.

inappropriate indeed...mccain is inappropriate...

McCain should even dare to mention this not helping Republicans.....the man hasn't drawn a breath that hasn't been to harm republicans and the republic.

Actually, they have a point. You have the right to fight for our military but not contribute money to our political process?

There has to be a better way.

His imitation of Bubba Klinton was pretty humorous during the debates... I have to say.. he is THE man!

I've been thinking of moving to AZ for a long time, however, y'all need to oust McCain first :)

J. D., what a great congressman. It really sucks that my congressperson is, Anthony "waterboy" Weiner and not JD or Bob Barr. And here in NYC, I did not leave the GOP, it left me.

IF YOU CAN'T VOTE FOR A CANIDATE YOU CAN'T DONATE TO THEM... PERIOD! Until this is the law of the land, campaign finance is a smoke and mirrors ploy..

You don't need to be an expert in literature to understand that a reference in paragraph 3 refers back to the list of "enemies" in paragraph 1.

Even more than partisanship this is about defending the RATs favorite felons -- Clinton/Hillary/Gore. When they violate existing finance laws the cries are "move on".

I do not care how noble the immigrant, our campaigns should be financed by citizens only, with sworn allegiance to THIS nation.

I wonder if Hayworth could someday challenge McInsane for his Senate seat?

"Obviously, xenophobia is alive and well in this chamber," said Rep. Robert Menendez, a Democrat from New Jersey, the son of Cuban immigrants. "This is not about foreign influence in politics. There are 20,000 members of the armed forces who are legal residents. If they can die for this country, sir, they certainly have a right to participate in the process."

Bob Menendez is the Dems point man on race baiting. He accused the GOP of racism for delaying the appointment of judge Paez, asscused the Republicans of racism for JC Watts joke about Daschle and Gephardt taking a siesta in Mexica, accused the Republicans of racism for investigating all the illegal votes that Loretta Sanchez recieved, and is now accusing the Republicans of racism for Hayworth's comments.

Bob, we don't feel sorry for you. Go to hell!

As if we needed any more proof that leftists hispanic advocates are blatantly anti-american? They are enemies of the state. Does anyone here doubt that they care more about Mexico and mexican citizens than they do about America?

I heard J.D. speak live, and in person Monday evening, he was a bit more outspoken on CFR that night. It is sad that those of us in "RED" Ed Pastor's district have to depend on J.D., and Jeff Flake for representation.
