Actually, they have a point. You have the right to fight for our military but not contribute money to our political process?

There has to be a better way.

I agree with the Keyes approach - if you can vote, you can donate money to candidates. No vote, no bucks.

Hayworth's words are being mis-construed...

JD was referring to unlawful contributions...or rather money from non-citizens influencing government...he said nothing about "legal" residents...and he said nothing about Hispanics...this is a democrat fueled "political uproar" that never existed and McCain is trying to validate the democrats Bravo Sierra.

The outrage is the partisan behavior of the bleeding wanabee-victims who are complaining...

The way things stand now they can contribute through veterans' groups and other political entities they support. CFR nukes this option.
