Perhaps the White House operators would like a change in pace from the "say no to CFR" calls, and would like to hear our thoughts on illegal immigration. Here's the number, (202)456-1414.

I just talked to a charming lady, who knew exactly what I was talking about, even mentioning a bill number (245?, anyone heard of it?).

"If this administration pulls off another amnesty or even puts some sort of Bracero program in place without taking action to make sure that existing illegals are not rewarded: the libertarians have one new vote."

I agree with the giving Vote to another candidate/party part, but I don't think I would go as fas as giving the Libertarians the vote. Doesn't their party's platform condone open borders? Not being a Libertarian I may be misinformed.

This immigration distaster continues. Its total insanity to even consider it. With hundreds of thousands of Americans being laid off since 9/11, even considering this is appalling!

We have the equivalent of 9 major cities of illegal aliens in our country already, with approximately another million entering every year.

The question in my mind is, will the rest of America wake up to this titanic invasion before its to late? Unfortunately, I am not confident of this.

"this is the one item, if passed that would cause my vote to go elsewhere in the next Presidentual election."

But go where? They pretty well have it sewed up for whomever vote. They are taking us down incrementally.

Its getting painfully obvious that the differences between the two beltway parties are inconsequential. In my opinion its a two party dog and pony show thats driving our country into a ditch.

Its becoming inordinately clear that we need a party that is for Americas best interest, and that is willing to stop this masssive invasion, deport these millions that are already here, reduce government by 75 percent, and either abolish or dramatically reduce the IRS. These two beltway parties will never consider these issues.

Absolutely correct.

And why we are doomed as a nation.

Agreed, however I would hazard a guess and say that if a bill was passed giving illegals in this country amnesty, Pat Bucannons party would probably rival both the Republican and Democratic party overnight. One thing that neither party seems to realize is most voters in this country do not want Illegals given any sort of amnesty, in fact I dare say most want the borders better patrolled and illegals deported. After 9/11 the silent majority is becoming much more vocal.

As a side note, I have always voted for the Republican candidate, as long as his/her views closely matched mine, except for one time when I voted for William Shaefer as mayor for Baltimore(I lived in the city up until the time it started to get really bad, which was about the time Shaefer left).

245(i) isn't a bill number, it's the section number of immigration law that allows illegal aliens to apply for amnesty. Technically, the deadline for applying for amnesty passed on April 30 of 2000, what the Prez and big business wants is to extend the deadline to apply until -- well, here they can't decide if is should be 03, 04, 05, . . . you get the idea. It failed last year because Tancredo and several grassroots organizations started explaining to congresscritters the connection between terrorism and illegal immigration, and the Bush people didn't want to fight it that soon after Sept. 11. But the memories are fading, and business needs slave labor . . .

I consider this to be the act of a man who doesn't respect the laws of our nation. As such he should resign and go to work for the mob or some other concern that feels the same way he does about them.

This is outrageous.

And like campaign finance reform is politically motivated discussion behind our backs:

I expect to further confuse the conservatives, Pres. Bush will emphasize the [potentially ineffective] use of troops at the border will be to buy off their concerns while at the same time opening the floodgates.

The troops will be holding the door open.

Losing the borders is the way America loses its identity. The NWO is just about here.

The troops will be holding the door open.

Actually, I expect that they will be manning Bush's proposed INS immigrant welcome centers...so much for Bush's vaunted border security measures and funding increases.

This is a lot more serious than just an election.

Here is a recent note from George Putnam on what is happening -

We agree on this one rightwing2.

Will we ever tighten up the borders with Mexico when ME terrorists come through there? A country without borders (deliberately porous with those who get through made legal)is no longer a country.

The world government elites want no borders and legalization of illegal immigrants to tear down nationalism and buildup allegiance to a world government. It will become easier to institute a global tax on trade this way top pay for their greater world controls.

Do the Rs and Ds still want a flow of cheap labor from Mexico, is this what this is about? Or, are the R's and D's fighting for votes in elections from those who would be made legal? Or are both reasons going on here?

That's why I changed my registration from Republican to American Independent. Of course the news media completely ignores or downgrades any party other than Repub or Dem.

What no one wants to talk about:

RECONQUISTA: MEXICO'S ATTEMPT TO ANNEX THE SOUTHWEST

In January 1995, El Plan de Aztlan Conference at UC Riverside resolved that "We shall overcome...by the vote if possible and violence if necessary."

There are two ways that you can gain territory from another group. One is by conquest. That's essentially the way we took California from Mexico and... Texas as well. But what's going on now may end up being a kind of recolonization of the Southwest, because the other way you can regain territory is by population infiltration and demographic dominance .... The United States will be faced with the problem that Canada has been faced with... and which our system is not prepared to accomodate.

Dr. George Fredrickson, Edgar E. Robinson Professor of United States History, Stanford University

Why the libertarians? They're for open borders with NO restrictions.
