IMO, grassroots suporters exist as a revenue stream to the top leadership in the repulicrat and demican parties, ie.; financial suckers and guaranteed voting blocs and local grunt workers and cheerleaders they can count on all the time. The closer the election gets. people when they get right down to the ballot box, mostly chicken out and will continue to vote for blowhard A or B, every single time. The two parties have one thing in common, that they both 100% agree on and work together on, every election I can remember. both of them pull out the stops in the media to scare people to "not waste their vote", push that lie that your vote-no matter who you vote for-is somehow 'wasted" if you don't vote for one of the "annointed ones". Phooie, biggest historical scam running. Not to me it's not, my vote is as important as anyone's, and it doesn't matter who I vote for, it's still important, never wasted.
If it's any consolation though, I seriously doubt any kind of amnesty or guest worker program will pass this Congress. I just don't see the support there. But I've been wrong before.
We as average Americans are no longer represented. Our own leaders, both in DC and in business no longer have America or Americans in their best interest. Profit above patriotism will drive this nation into a ditch.
Our borders are a national disgrace, and our immigration policies are a complete "free for all". If we don't regain control of our sovereignty soon, it will result in total chaos for the United States.
We are more concerned with other nations borders than our own. We have 30,000 troops on the border in South Korea, while our own borders continue to be wide open to this titanic invasion of millions.
I guess the President and Karl Rove hope that Americans miss this little piece of news.

Right you are on that one.
The guy in Arizona, think his name is Roger Barnett? His picture was on some magazine, may have been Time, but it was him holding a gun in his hand trying to make him look like some right wing nut.
This is just someone trying to protect his property from being overun by illegals because the federal government won't or can't do it. Private citizens protecting themselves from invasion will be portrayed by the media as being nothing more than Nazi thugs.
It's getting to the point where more and more folks are just telling the media to stuff it.

Bush would be no better than Benedict Arnold. In point-of-fact, he'd be worse. Did he ever mention this illegal alien amnesty scheme during his campaign?
Doesn't it strike a note when the concept of politicians refusing to represent the public citizen's wishes on important matters is put right in everyone's face?
It's now the accepted Norm. I just don't comprehend folks allowing it.
I am not worried about the pc crowd. A Citizens Patrol Group would stand guard and apprehend illegal aliens crossing our border.
I am not talking about abusing anybody. We would apprehend them and turn them over to the appropriate authorites and hope they do their job.
It is like a citizens arrest.
Remember the Guardian Angels in New York - everybody used to call them vilgilantes and eventually everybody realized what a good job they were doing. I think the time has come that we serioulsy think about this since our pleas for a secure border is falling on deaf ears in Washington.
Republicans want slave labor for the big business friends and DemoRATS want illegal votes. It is going to be up to us, the average American Citizen to bring change or kiss America goodbye.
Unlimited immigration, erasing the borders and legalizing drugs are right at the top of the Libertarian campaign plank.
If Bush does this, I won't vote for him, but I won't vote for the Libertarians either.
In fact, did he even bother to mention it during his "state of the union" speech when all of America was listening? NOT! This is going to be some type of back room deal and they will try to confuse the issue and hope most Americans don't understand. You can better believe it won't be called Amnesty.
