JAMES WOODS ON O'REILLY 2/14/02
O'Reilly Factor

Did anyone else see James Woods on O'Reilly? For the first time he announced that at least two of the Arabs who he saw on a Boston-to-LA flight in August were in fact 9/11 hijackers.
The important thing was that the two he positively identified were on different flights on 9/11. One was on Flight 175, and the other was on Flight 77. Woods pointed out that this fact destroys the idea that the terrorists were all in isolated cells and had no idea what the others were doing. The intermingling of the terrorists points to a common knowledge of what was going to happen.

Well - we've seen that the man who got blown up with a hand grenade in Yemen was an in-law. So there was some connection between many of them, probably. Cousins, in-laws, friends, etc.

If true, this guy must have some seriously conflicted emotions. He did what he could to stop them, but I wonder if he feels like he could have done more. Imagine how you would feel if you saw on the news that some guy had shot twenty people dead in a restaurant, only to realize that you sat next to the guy on the subway that morning.

Interesting point,,thanks for posting.

Yeah, you beat my post by a minute or so...
Truely an amazing story!!
To: denydenydeny
Yeah. It was wild!

The intermingling of the terrorists points to a common knowledge of what was going to happen. I can see how it points to a common knowledge that they were going to hijack planes. But how does it point to a common knowledge that they were going to crash those planes into buildings?

Woods was great - what can we Californians do to get him to run for office, preferably the U. S. Senate? Please, please, please, Jimmy???
To: Inspectorette
Woods is one of the few people from Hollywood who actually has a brain.
To: The Other Harry
More than just a common brain. . . he got 1600 on his SAT's! Makes sense that anyone with that much brainpower wouldn't be under the thumbs of the liberati who can not think but only FEEL!
To: aristeides
It's pretty much a moot point anyway, and I never understood why people made such a big deal of it.
If you're preparing to hijack a plane, you have to figure that you have a very good chance of not surviving.

I know at the time he notified the crew on the aircraft about their suspicious behavior, but I can't recall who else he tried to alert about this August dry run.
As I recall, the FBI only talked to him after 9/11 happened.
To: Fred Mertz
A viewer on capitol.grilling has reported that Woods said tonight that he reported the four men's behavior to a flight attendant and the captain of the flight. I wonder if they survived 9/11 to confirm this and perhaps help to identify the men.
To: aristeides
I would bet that they survived 9/11.

I don't understand. Are you saying you would be kicking yourself for not having blown him away for no reason? Or are you saying that you would feel irrationally guilty?

I don't understand. Are you saying you would be kicking yourself for not having blown him away for no reason? Or are you saying that you would feel irrationally guilty? The latter. It's like when a parent dies in a car crash, and you have that period of guilt, where you think you should have been able to do something to prevent it, but didn't.

I can see how it points to a common knowledge that they were going to hijack planes. But how does it point to a common knowledge that they were going to crash those planes into buildings? It doesn't, but it is an interesting fact nonetheless. For all we know, many/most/all didn't even know they would be hijacking planes. But we know a large number of Arabic men were going on dry runs for what happened 9/11. The fact that two of them were not among the 19 dead that day suggest the rumors of up to 50 men being true. IIRC, there were at least two other flights that were identified here on FR as being suspicious. (One was Cleveland-San Antonio, I beleieve. Those other two could have been among the ones arrested at JFK, or found on the train to San Antonio. Or they could have been in other groups on 9/11 that never showed up on LE or FR radar.
Woods mentioned that one of the ones he remembered form the flight was the one with "the really pointy hair" in the pictures, but he didin't remember his name at the moment.
Among the behavioral aspects he mentioned were the four men were riding in first class with no hand luggage, communicating among themsleves and treating the female flight attendent with charateristic Taliban contempt. (I would have said Whahabist if I were him, probably, but anyway.)
It should be rerun in the 11pm hour.

"IIRC, there were at least two other flights that were identified here on FR as being suspicious. (One was Cleveland-San Antonio, I beleieve. Those other two could have been among the ones arrested at JFK, or found on the train to San Antonio." Seems like I recall reports saying that after they grounded all the air traffic that day, there were reports of about a dozen other flights with middle-eastern guys occupying the jump seats, who skedaddled when the planes were emptied.

I'm still not sure which is the one with the "pointy" hair.
