I'm rich
2-14-02 | farmall

My wife and I are both public school teachers. We both teach additional day and after school classes. We both teach summer school and I have another job as a security guard. Combined total we earned @ $119,000 in 2001. IRS has already taken @ $19,000. It looks like they want another $ 3-5,000 on 4-15-02.

You could buy a second home, take out a home equity loan, and go back to school on borrowed loans -- claiming all that interest you pay as tax deductions.

Or you could both quit your jobs, go on welfare, move into a HUD home, buy a big-screen TV and let your neighbors (via their taxes) pay to have your grass cut.

The next time some guy (let's not mention any names here) proposes to spend another $30 billion on some dum bass program, recognize that it's going to come out of someone's pocket book that looks quite a bit like, say, you!

It's called theft. And there is not a thing any of us can do about it. Just bend over and take it.

It does no good to fume, but I do anyway.

It sucks being you. Working hard to make a living amongst all those liberal chuckleheads in the teachers unions, who love to vote for higher taxes. How can you stand it???

How many FRs net $95,000 after tax of 25%?

Somehow I can't summon the tears.

Call Tucobad to spank you for overachieving.

Sounds like you are smart, hardworking, and productive.

As punishment, you get your own welfare mom to support.

Yeah, envy and sloth is so much easier than working.

WOW! My wife and I have 8 kids and one income. Our total is around 57K and we paid about 3K in taxes. We expect to get it all back, again, plus another 3K in child tax credits.

I imagine quite a few if not most. Conservatives are the doers of the world. We 'do' the world and then get paid handsomely for the pleasure it recieves from all our enterprise and productivity.

The better question is, how many DUers even pay taxes?

Do you pay FICA tax? Nearly 7 million government workers, many of them teachers, do not.

Did you catch the number of jobs those two work? You think the dough just falls into their laps each year? Sheesh.
