There was just another incident reported in Memphis, Tennessee this afternoon. I didn't catch but a little of the report. It was on Fox so maybe somebody else saw it. There was a woman found dead and I think her car had caught fire in the garage (I could be wrong) and it was possible that she had some connection to the 9/11 terrorists.
The same arguments you are making can apply to gun control in a sense. Ooh jeez there are bad people with guns (Islam) in America. Guns (Islam) are ruining our society. So let's make sure that nobody in our country has guns (Islam).
This is a total overreaction that I would expect from paranoid schizophrenic members of a totalitarian state.
An individual commits crimes. You imprison him after the fact. If you can detect hints of his specific criminal activity before the fact, you detain him for questioning and/or charge him with lesser offenses. If he is not a legal member of our society you deport him.
If, in America, ten blacks rob banks in the same week, you do NOT run around willy-nilly bringing all blacks in for questioning. If a prominent leader of blacks advocates bank robbery, you track down and question any of his followers who act like they are preparing to commit bank robberies. You DON'T imprison all blacks.
Perhaps the most ignorant statement you make in your diatribe is that all Islamic nations have persecuted and murdered members of their nation and neighboring nations. Hey, wake up call, so have we and so has every other nation in the world. We're not doing it so much now because we're becoming civilized. Some Islamic nations are relatively uncivilized and thus are still capable of more heinous acts than our own. However, take a look at Mr. Milosevic to see what non-Muslims are capable of. It's not an Islam thing exclusively, it's a jackass thing.
Nobody here thinks we should let foreign cultures "take over" our own. Just like dozens of nationalities have contributed to what's great about this country, so have some Muslims and Middle Easterners. Why fear their culture more than Irish or Catholic or Jewish or Chinese?
I'll tell you what, if you ever show me a poll that states clearly that 20% of all Muslims in America think that American civilians should be killed indiscriminately in jihad, then I'll listen. Until then, you're a crackpot for claiming that "millions of Americans" are going to die at the hands of Middle Easterners who entered this country legally. I've gotten to the point where I mostly avoid the "Let's exterminate all Muslims" threads.
No you don't, but perhaps if blacks were trying to use vehecles such as planes and trucks as weapons to kill thousands of people it might not be a bad idea to at least be on the lookout for anything suspiscious. Profiling at Airports may not be a bad idea either.
The comparison between stealing cars and what these terrorists want to do to us was a little off don't you think?
I think it has to do with our natural good will. We like to see people come to our country and start a new life and prosper and succeed and many often make great contributions in various fields.
The bad guys themselves know this and talk about it explicitly. They can use our good nature and generosity.

Maybe only 2% of this group are terrorists. That still leaves six times the number it took to engineer the destruction of the Towers. And the balance of this group are already criminals. The INS, in its pre-9/11 wisdom, gave them all pieces of paper that said "Please come to court" as if they were parking tickets, or minor traffic violations.
And, the next attack when (not if) it comes, and is successful, will probably kill many times the victims of 9/11.
Every nation, including the US, has the absolute right to throw out any aliens who are in their territory illegally. This is part of the very meaning of being a nation. If you want to argue that is morally wrong, you are a fool. If you want to argue that is either illegal or unconstitutional, you are a fool. If you want to argue, contrary to common sense, that should not be done, you are a fool.
Unfortunately, nuclear or biological attacks kill conpetent Americans and fools alike. So, it is necessary that thinking Americans protect the likes of you, as they protect themselves. And you have the First Amendment right to say whatever you wish, however wrong or foolish. (A right, I add, that I am in the front lines defending.)
So, post away. Not only are you foolish, you are irrelevant.

If after reading this, you are able to tell me that Profiling is not necessary, as was needed when a rogue Secret Service agent was prevented from boarding a flight armed!!
The same procedures are what may prevent these 2 MESA types from crashing a fully laden fuel tanker into some fixed location.

Not one of the imprisoned Japanese-Americans (most of whom were citizens here) was ever convicted of committing any crime. ALL of the 6,500 muslims who are here illegally and have deportation orders already signed, have been individually been convicted of a crime and are currently subject to arrest and deportation.
