Morris to Greta: You're a CNN person!/ CLINTON-WAS-AN-UTTER FAILURE Containment Team Fails Yet Again

EW YORK, Feb. 7--Greta Van Susteren, clintonoid extralegal cudgel plucked by Fox from the eponymous Clinton News Network (CNN) and now host of her own show, "On the Record," demonstrated in real-time that her much "eyed" Fox-y redo was, indeed, only cosmetic. In a state of obvious disequilibrium at "fair and balanced" Fox, Greta, cross-examining Dick Morris with standard issue clinton cya-ing talking points, behaved as though she were still a CNN CLINTON-WAS-AN-UTTER-FAILURE Containment Team Scheme co-conspirator. And Morris, not one to take it lying down, (so to speak), quickly called her on it with with, "You're still a CNN person!"-- spitting out "CNN" with a force one usually reserves for only the most obscene invective. The impetus for Greta's rage was a devastating piece in "The Wall Street Journal" detailing clinton's utter failure in combating terrorism; it was written by Morris, who should know -- he was former clinton advisor, personal pollster and closest confidant. The logical endpoints of Morris' argument -- that clinton is the proximate cause of 9/11, that clinton put civilization, itself, at great risk and that clinton was, therefore, an utter failure as president -- put Greta in extreme CLINTON-WAS-AN-UTTER-FAILURE Containment Team Scheme mode. Greta buttressed her clinton cya-ing talking points with clinton-provided New York Times cites. There is no clearer case of petitio principii, begging the question, than this. (Any person still sentient after eight years of the clintons knows that the The New York Times is merely the clinton cya-ing talking points writ large (or is it small??).) Greta's position at Fox is tenuous. As a CLINTON-WAS-AN-UTTER-FAILURE Containment Team Scheme co-conspirator, Greta's sycophancy, second only to that of Helen Thomas, is inconsistent with Fox News audience demographics. Famous for his simultaneous use of phones and toes, Dick Morris conducted an "On the Record" poll tonight as he toed the line with Greta. "According to the poll," said Morris, " Greta's a goner." |

Actually, the entire exchange gave me some reason to let a little respect for Morris grow in my heart. I have never liked him and think he is just a soulless automaton, who doesn't understand why people think as they do, he just wants to know what, so he can poll and then follow the results. Perhaps something about 9/11 fundamentally changed him and I certainly hope so. He was so incredibly angry, I was startled. Now it could be it was just an ego thing, as in I was there and I am important, or perhaps he was actually coming under some sense of guilt for the lack of action on the administrations part. Who knows, I think his real rage somewhat startled Ms. Greta. When he said, "Ok right 9/11 didn't happen." Greta could only plead, "please don't say that." I didn't even get to the point tho' where I almost felt sorry for her. You are a better man than I!

LOL; well, that has to be one of her worst moments on-screen, I'm guessing -- to be reduced to lamely pleading, "Please don't say that." Didn't you feel he was just-this-close to walking off, or coming over and
shaking her? I really did. (I'm picturing the scene with the hysterical woman in Airplane, here.)
I still think Morris is a worm. If he gets up and tears his shirt (not open, though, please) and says, "I AM SORRY for EVERYTHING I did getting that man in office, America! Forgive me! It is the worst thing I've ever done! From now on, I will make burgers at Bob's Big Boy!" I might take him seriously.

Morris' ass ripping last night could be turned into PAID TV....I would pay money to see Greta say thru her "crooked grimace", "D-I-C-K, D-I-C-K, D-I-C-K", and watch the panic ravish her distorted face ONE more time! It was a classic...we finally have Morris behaving like a Carville on LIVE TV!

I saw Lucy Lu, ummmmm, I mean Greta on Fox and Friends this morning, still defending Clinton's record against terrorist. Stating that, "Clinton tried several times to get Bin laden, but he is a very hard person to get. After all, look at Bush. He still hasn't got Bin Laden, and he has an Army searching for him." She also would not answer the question posed to her, regarding "Do you think the media has a liberal bias?" And then, Eddy read her a quote from Dan rather about Mrs. Ken lay defending her husband, coparing her to Hillary defending Bubba. Rather said, "Don't go there."
Lucy, UMMM, Greta, said. "What wife would not defend her husband?"
She's a CNN liberal! I don't know why Roger has hired her or whoraldo. At least whorealdo is out of the country and we see him periodically, but Lucy, ummm, Greta, is on every night, looking at us thur her spooky eyes. (Sorry, but I don't like her eye job. I wonder if it was done by the same doctor who did Hillary's eyes?"

Well, as hungry as Dick is for attention and affirmation, I would bet that he has dropped in on these threads, to see how it played. I hope he gets the message. If he is truly wearing a hair shirt over his role in the administration, he needs to get right with that. I pray he does. Perhaps the devastation of 9/11 made him aware of more than just polls and legacies and reelection. Dick's next article should be about his sorrow and guilt, if there is any. It would have to be
very convincing, for me to believe him, but all things are possible.

"or perhaps he was actually coming under some sense of guilt for the lack of action on the administrations part. Who knows, I think his real rage somewhat startled Ms. Greta." Just a thought- Dick Morris, worm that he is, IS a New Yorker. As an expatriate New Yorker (Manhattan) myself, I can understand the overwhelming anger about the WTC that may be motivating Morris.
It is hard for many folks around the country to understand, but for some reason New Yorkers love their city.
To: RANGERAIRBORNE
I love your city. My son worked at the WFC.(he got out) I went to ground zero and cried. I still cry. I will never forget, and I have thought that perhaps Morris if he has a heart, has some real heartbreak over this. You have no idea how generous this is of me, cause I have always considered him a worm.

Amen to every word, particularly your last two thoughts.
I have found genuine exhibitions of conscience to be SO RARE today that I don't apologize for requesting a little proof.

I was disappointed with Fox and Friends for not taking her to task.Methinks Fox is running crazy trying to counter the "Conservative Bias" perception promulgated by CNN and the rest. I actually saw O'reilly with Geraldo on his set, treating Geraldo as if he were a legitimate reporter.

If Morris is right (which is rare) and Greta is canned I don't think I would miss her too much (read that as "not at all).

Morris even with all his personal flaws known well to all of us here, absolutely ate Greta for lunch. I don't think I've ever seen him so riled. Her knee jerk defense of Clinton really got to him and of course she immediately resorted to the usual liberal's tactic of personally attacking one's opponent which went nowhere. Boy howdy it was a spectacle to behold. That was the first and perhaps only time I'll ever watch her.

Almost as if he is making it his life's work to make sure the real truth about the clintons is never forgotten-from his viewpoint. Until 9/11 nearly all of his Clinton-ripping was aimed at Hillary's doings.
