they protest too much, if they weren't using it for that reason then why they are they so upset? They're not upset about being mislabeled but that they won't get $34m??
$34 million is not a lot of cash to the Chinese government is it?

The Chinese "correct choice" is INCORRECT.
President Bush made the correct choice. (No quotation marks needed.
Excessive use of quotes around normal words, along with the overuse of the term "so-called," are reserved for Chinese propagandists who cannot understand non-commie ideas.)

A DECISION by President Bush to suspend £24 million of United States funding to a United Nations body accused of assisting forced abortions in China is threatening to cloud his visit to Beijing this month. By withholding the money from the UN Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA), Mr Bush has made clear his opposition to China's extreme population control methods. Beijing is hoping to extend the controls, which restrict the majority of couples to one child, for another generation. Beijing is furious with Mr Bush, who has been swayed by reports implicating the UNFPA in abuses of the one-child policy. ...Posted on 2/2/02 5:21 PM Pacific by Pokey78

$34 million is not a lot of cash to the "Chinese government" is it?
First consider that, like everything else in "China," it has to be split among the gang of two hundred and fifty psychpathological slave-keeping mass-murderers that has coopted phrases and words like "Chinese government" and "Peking" [The English-Language word for the gang of 250's base of operations] to its own use.
And then figger it out.
Probably -- even by the standards of Peking's lying thieving mass-murdering gang -- not a bad half-a-day's work?

"Beijing is hoping to extend the controls, which restrict the majority of couples to one child, for another generation." Why is ANY country other than China funding this?
Thank you for following your clear-headed convictions, Mr. President.
To: Brian Allen
Actually, I doubt the money is the issue at all. I believe the Chinese want the tacit acceptance of their horrible policy by the UN and by extension, the US.

Yup, let's tie the Chinese and forced abortions to the pro-choice fanatics. They deserve each other.
