Notice how the queen always manages to get the aisle seat during State of the Union addresses? Several years back she looked so adoringly as X42 walked passed but he didn't even shake her hand (shocking considering how rigously she defended him during the house impeachment hearings). This year, there she was again but instead of being ignored, she received a kiss from Dubya.

I think I will send her a copy of this article and ask for an explanation.

OH, did I have a good laugh? Anyone who lives in the Houston area is well aware of this woman and her haughty ways.

You're correct about her lack of intelligence. I've gotten quite a few laughs listening to her try to appear knowledgeable about anything.I put her in the same intellectual class as Cynthia Mckinney from Ga, another moron

I think she would be a good subject for some DC freepers to show up in her neighborhood with some of their imaginitive signs. Better yet a horse-drawn carriage for "her heiness" to travel that one block drawn by an equine who had consumed large amounts of baked beans.(a la a very funny Seinfeld episode) Who does she think she is? Having her in Congress makes a good case for making voters pass tests before they are allowed to vote

Perhaps her constituency isn't aware of her many 'vagaries'. I certainly don't know the everyday habits of my representatives unless it hits the newspapers.

From the posts, I assume that she is from the Houston area. Perhaps this article should be sent to newspapers in her district so that they can cast a more informed vote in the future. (Unfortunately, people who vote for people like this probably don't read the newspapers -- but it's worth a shot.)

How embarrassing for me to admit that Sheila's my congresswoman! I'm in a mostly Republican neighborhood that used to be in Bill Archer's 7th Congressional District (now John Culberson's; was George Herbert Walker Bush's seat a long time ago). In the 1991 redistricting we got drawn into Queen Sheila's realm, the 18th Cong. Dist. At least she provides humor between offering socialist amendments. Some consolation. It would take much more than this to dethrone her. I forget what took down her predecessor, Craig Washington.

This article, is true, is OUTRAGEOUS. Since it was printed in the Weekly Standard, I expect it has been fairly well vetted.....it is absolutely astounding to learn of the rudeness of this woman. Unexcusable behavior. Full of hatred and arrogance.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I would like to be on a plane with this woman should she begin her haughty demands. And if I had seen her treat an aide like she did the one on the street regarding the removal of her shaw, etc., I would have been loud and clear in my amazement.

This woman seems to be as bad in REAL LIFE as she is on the tube. Pathetic. But oh what monsters the liberals have reared on their stark, anger inciting plantations...... this is a woman who apparently SHOUTED RACISM, yes, RACISM, when a plane, having taxied out of its gate refused due to FAC rules to return to the gate especially for her.....This woman needs a good solid spanking across her big fat rump and about 100 hours of community service so that she can re-acquaint herself with humility.

One of the great posts on FR was Driving Miss Shiela which was a parody of Driving Miss Daisy. Apparently Missy enslaved most of her staff to drive her here and there on their own time without pay. When she attempted to advance the scheme to the airlines ferrying her between Washington and Texas, they told her to f*ck off. Her staff turnover rate is the highest in congress. Hillary could learn a lesson or two from this BITCH.

So find a more tolerable RAT to run against her. Or if it's a racial thing, a more tolerable black RAT.

I know, easier said than done. But somehow, her supporters need to discover how she places herself so far above them that she can not represent their interests.
