I have to admit that I hadn't really heard of this person before this post (Gotta love FR for sheer information value), so I looker her up on Google. There's an ABCnews profile (glowing), which contains this little gem:

Jackson Lee won the special election in 1996 with 77 percent of the vote, was unopposed in the 1998 primary and won re-election in 1998 with 90 percent.

90%?????? No one wins a real election with 90% of the votes cast. She's a queen, all right.

I was on a flight with Rep. J.D. Hayworth from Arizona two years ago. He was flying his very young daughter to Washington for the Holidays. He was very approachable, very polite, very attentive to his daughter, and SITTING IN COACH! He is also a very conservative Republican.
